Can I access App Market through Wifi?

Hi all,
I'm really really tempted to buy the HTC DHD  , what I'm currently wanted to know is that can i access the Android App Market with wifi connection?? is it a compulsory to need 3G to access App Market?I'm currently a BB user, and the BB Market lock out anyone using wifi to connect. TQ. |
