Plan to buy console for my kids ( 6 and 4 years) so that they won't kacau my laptop to play KOF.
Buying PSP for both of them is going to kill me on long term (lcd crack, cannot turn on, etc)
At first plan to buy PS3 but not many games for kids.
However Wii lot of kids games but not many shops carry it.
Very interested in Wii with its motion sensor game but PS3 also have with Move and Xbox with Kinetic so that they will jump here and there.
Which one should I choose for kids ? rclxub.gif

You are parent of 2 and yet you can't even decide this kind of stuff? There are too many similar "which one for my kids" topics already here, just refer to those.

I do think that not letting kids own their own consoles will save them lots of time from playing games.

what happened to all those traditional games we played during our childhood?

must the kids sit in front the TV to play?

for the kid's sake! bring them outside to play REAL games!

wait for festive season ask them to gather some money.. at least half price of their desired console.. then you may top up the differince..
do not teach them the easy way to get things.. they wont appreciate the console..

just buy them those tv games u see in jusco and toys r us..u know, the one with pooh, aladdin and other disney characters.

a clone nes wouldn't hurt either...come on...4 yrs old? they just want to play with u no matter what u gave them as long as u give them ur time once in a while.

a trip to the park wouldn't hurt either

I'm not into console, won't get straight answer just by searching your "keyword".
By the way thanks for for advice.

Kyoyagami:

I'm not looking for lanun version since I can afford to buy original.
Budget ? Just buy straight away if find suitable one for my kids.
The cheaper.......... the better for my pocket.

feekle,

Good idea. Going to scout for PS2 price this weekend.

greyshadow,

Play traditional games ? Nowdays, CC is their playground.
Just give a visit to any suburban CC during weekend, horde of school kids.
Rather let them play inside the house.

Nawar,

Of course buy console with one condition........ no more toys for the whole year!

For all who reply, thanks a lot.

Frankly, I have the feeling that the Wii offering is cheaper. but the Xbox and PS3 are available with rental options. So we leave it to you to calculate. biggrin.gif

go out to play doesn't means going to CC to play
your kids are just 4 & 6, CC is a no place for school kids anyway...
Majority is doing it doesn't mean you must follow

What I mean is bring them out to play in the park, play something physical, like a park play ground, kite flying, fishing
in door can teach them to play board games like snake & ladder, chess, read some books together.
Instead of buy them a console and then, Nah! Sit down and play your game quietly and don't come kacau papa whistling.gif

btw, I'm a father of 2 kids as well, and a gamer myself
and I ain't letting them sit in front the TV whole day playing video games wink.gif
I'll bring them out every time i got chance rather than let them coupe up in the house wink.gif
