SCLCD is my choice. Accurate color, better exposure. Second will be Super AMOLED and ClearBack Display AMOLED. Third will be AMOLED. Forth is SLCD

^ It's still inferior to AMOLED. HTC/Samsung revert back to SLCD cos not enough supply, bought from Sony not becos it's better.

super amoled is the best imho. basically amoled is better than lcd.no matter super lcd or retina whatever biggrin.gif

This question have been on my mind for some time now..

Like we see on touch screen phone specifications, they always write 16Million Colors(65k effective). What does it mean?

Is it because of the LCD have 16Million color capability but only able to display 65K because of the touch screen? Kinda confuse here rclxub.gif

i'm using Samsung galaxy s right now, and Super Amoled is the best somehow. who needs view of retina display where you can even see with your naked eye? LOL

the limitation is because of the OS..like windows mobile 6 and below can only display 65k of color smile.gif

Retina is still LCD guys. It's another marketing gimmick by iPhone. It's clear + vibrant because they made full use of the LCD technology and they crammed so much pixels into that phone.
