Hi Forumers,

Help needed for advice on which aircon in the market has the shortest height? This is because at first when I do the aircon piping, it has about 1.5 feet distance between the water/drain pipe to the ceiling, which is sufficient. However, after the guys who did the plaster ceiling+cornice, now I only have exactly 10 inch from drain pipe opening at the wall, to the edge of the cornice.

Assuming that the aircon is installed such that the top of the indoor unit touches the cornice edge, I wonder if 10 inch is sufficient for the drain pipe from the aircon to connect to the opening at the wall? Obviously the drain pipe cannot be lower than the wall opening else water cannot flow.

Is this sufficient (10inch) or do I need to cut my cornice in order to give way to the aircon?

I don't think that 10inches is enough. I think 1.5 feet is require at least.

Really? I thought normal aircon about 28-30cm in height only. I just would like to know normally the drain pipe hose within the aircon, is located how many inches from the top of the aircon?
