I'm a regular trader in Lowyat forum.
Last week I came across a scammer in Hobbies&Collectibles section.
I was looking for a Perfect Grade Gundam Wing and this scammer pm me offering his for only Rm100, included postage fee.
He send me some pictures of the Gundam from unknown sources.
At first,I wan tempted by the low price he offered, then I felt that guy was suspicious.
His attempt was an EPIC fail.

Conversation between me and him:

Me: Sms me your mobile number and we'll discuss on the phone.
Him: Sry my phone number deactivated. T.T
(P.S: You cant contact him except only in forum. If he go missing, you're burned. )

Me: What's your trading method?? Bank In Or COD??
Him: Ok, you ready your mol-point transaction.
(P.S: You cant track your money, seems you can't check who your mol point go to)

Me: Okay, I'll give you the mol-point ocne I have received your item.
Him: No, you pay 1st then I send.
(P.S: They'll go missing after you made your payment.)

Secure POSTAGE TRADING METHOD
1) Get his contact number (Always make sure you have a way to find him If he went missing.)
2) Make sure you don't trade in the form of Mol-point. Bank-In method is different, you can check on them through bank.)
3)Check and know the person before you trade, exp: Facebook.
(Ask him to send you a personal message in FB, to prove it is his.)
4)If you feel something is wrong, CANCEL the deal or consulting your friends, don't be tempted by the low prices they offered.
5)If you believe him (that he's gonna send you the REAL thing through postage), you can get the tracking number from him to know your items' status).
6)Check their rating and information in this forum.(Scammer usually leave it blank so you'll get nothing from them.)

well this one cost you a bit money.

when you feel suspicious on him,ask him/she to give he/she's address and said to the seller that your goin to send a letter to the seller and ask the seller what is written in the letter.

Questions:
why should i ask the seller's address?

The point you ask for his address is so if he scam you,you can report the address to the police
