Hey guys, anybody knows where i can get myself an ipad 2 around ipoh? Anybody who's personally bought them from any shops in ipoh?

There's no APR in ipoh, so i know it'll be limited to outside shops with most probably a higher pricing.

Dont think i can wait for an online order thanks for any help

the easiest way to do it is to authorize the computer that your brother intend to sync with the current ipad2 with. this way, he can sync and use all the apps uve purchased. you can create another Apple ID for your brother (for his own future use/purchase), and then authorizing his computer with the new Apple ID as well, so that his computer is now authorized with the 2 Apple IDs. the only thing is, if there are any updates for the apps purchased under your old/current Apple ID, your brother will still be prompted for the password of the said old/current Apple ID, as it's tied to that Apple ID. Do take note that there's no such thing as transfer of ownerships of apps (between Apple IDs), so if you want your brother to have access to your previously bought apps you HAVE to authorize his computer. Whether or not you give him the password for the old Apple ID is up to you. You can just authorize his computer and never share the password with him - but that'll mean he can't update the apps on his own.

For your second last question - provided that you're still using the same computer to sync with your newly bought iPad2, you can just automagically sync your contents - apps/songs to your iPad2. Even simpler is to backup your old iPad2, and then setup your new iPad2 with the backup of your old iPad2. Transfer data btwn 2 iDevices/iPad

If that's the case, you can just ignore para 1 of my earlier reply and reset your ipad to factory settings. do this by going to Settings>>General>>Reset>>Erase All Content and Settings. This will delete EVERYTHING on your ipad. <<http://www.tuaw.com/2010/05/03/how-to-resell-your-ipad/

After that, you can just create a new Apple ID for your brother.

i swear someone recc'd some good ipad-only manga app some few pages back coz ive read about it, but cant remember what they were.

i personally use Bookman Lite http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pdf-comic-r...d369540110?mt=8

it's a universal app (for iPhone and iPad). The app has a Pro version, but the Lite version is sufficient for me.

Use this app if you've loads of mangas, esp in compressed formats ie .cbz, .rar etc FTP transfer is ♥ ㅠ_ㅠ

@kevyeoh, definitely not. Every firmware is device-specific.
