Need help!

My ipad suddenly cannot turn on. It shows on the screen i need to connect to itunes, but when connected to itunes, it says it cant read my ipad and needs to restore it. So i did. The thing is the restore cannot be completed because it got an error 1013. Ive checked some websites and they say i need to try this: http://www.redmondpie.com/fix-itunes-error...4-to-ios-4.2.1/

The thing is in that hosts file, there is no gs.apple.com in it. Im gonna try with different computer and see if it's the same, but i think it will give the same error again.

Hopefully someone in here can help me fix this. If everything fails then ive no choice but to send it to Apple
