Anyone used any GPS apps on the iPad? Can give some advice / review?

I'm actually looking at Papago! Singapore & Malaysia HD, but can't find any review anywhere? Can anyone help?

Hi all, need your advice.

My ipad is currently synced with my notebook (apps/music/video/etc, everything actually).

I bought a new laptop and i've installed itunes already. when I connect my ipad to the new laptop, a dialog pops up with option to either "erase and sync" or "transfer purchases".

since the new laptop has nothing in the itunes library, "erase and sync" option will clean my ipad empty.

i selected "transfer purchases" but nothing happened.

i try to read up apple website on this issue, but it seems they only talk about songs and videos bought from itune store (that it will appear when u select transfer purchases)...

my main concern is the ipad apps i bought...do i need to "transfer purchases" to see the apps i bought on ipad appear on my new laptop? is it necessary to do so? is there a step by step way for a proper migration to a new laptop? (the old laptop will be formatted and installed with linux).

My fear is, i end up with no apps on my ipad (means i lost all the apps i bought and have to buy it again), my new laptop's itunes contain nothing, and my old laptop is reincarnated as a linux machine...

any guides?
