sengal punya treyarch....playing games should be simple and easy....put in disc, load games, go to MP and play! not all users are IT literated to do this NAT setting ....

p/s: for streamyx user that is using modem that given by TM, i believed u won't be able to set those DMZ, coz they already removed it in advance options laugh.gif buy new modem and claim it from treyarch doh.gif

ok for streamyx use that using Riger modem pls check this out. this is

another method can be use. normally we put our streamyx user name: xxx@streamyx passowrd:xxx in our modem using PPPoE method.

but this time we straight use that method in PS3. so you need to inactive PPPoE in or modem then do this step

---
So since you don't mention a router, I'll assume you're not using one. Since you're running DSL without a router, then you'll need to set up the PS3 to make a PPPoE connection. The PPPoE connection is the type of connections that most DSL providers use in order to authenticate the users of their service.
During the PS3 setup you need to set this up, you'll need your userid and password for your ISP (usually an email address and password; ie: john.doe@sbcglobal.net) .
Here's how to do it.

From the Settings menu on the PS3, go to Network Settings, then select Internet Connection Settings, then select Custom.
From the Connection Method screen select 'Wired' or 'Wireless' (however you'll be connecting to your modem, if connecting wireless, the modem has to handle a wireless signal).
Once the connection method is selected, (assuming wired) select 'Manual Settings' from the Ethernet Operation menu.
Once the manual settings option is chosen, select PPPoE from the 'IP Address Settings' screen.
Once you've selected PPPoE it will provide you an option to enter in your userid and password (from your ISP).
Once you've done that go through the rest of the screens, choosing the defaults, and you should then be connected, you can then test your connection.

Hi winterfrog,
Based on your tips. Nak tanya sikit
1. Does it work with other modem,
2. We skip or disabled the PPPoE, and means we will connect to router, and to access internet we have to supply username/password from PS3. This will be 1 vs 1 pairing right. Other device connect to the ruter cannot access internet ?

End result, do we get NAT TYPE:OPEN instead of RESTRICT.

Hi guyz ... thanks for the tips winter.

Tapi kan... COD BO, MW2 nie tak p1wimax friendly la...
I always have NAT Type 3, strict. Even putting the ps3's ip address into DMZ still NAT type 3. Anyone knew the way for P1 ???

Arghhh... tension!!
