Good Morning Guys / Gals / Ladies,

Am on xxJPU + Darky's ROM 5.5. I love the speed of the xxJPU even without the lagfix. After enabling the lagfixes, this is how the Galaxy S should be working in the very FIRST place! smile.gif

Anyway, just to ask, the old APN on/off widget n APNdroid seems to be not working at all, ie. can't enable or disable the 'Use Packet Data'. If i enable it manually, 3G network is available. But using the above 2 apps, i can disable the 3G network.

Anyone using a different APN apps to enable / disable the 3G network is working on xxJPU?

TIA

Hello Guys / Gals / Ladies,

Need some advice here. SGS on xJPU ROM and Darky's 5.5 ROM also.

Which battery mod is compatible to the above? Where the battery mod shows the % of battery level still available.

But be advice, without any additional updates, when u hold the power key long, Darky's shutdown options are made available.

But when i install this battery mod file CircleMod_Stock_JPU_C.zip, the shutdown options are no more.

Any advice.

TIA

i thought darky's current rom provides % of battery left on its icon

From the lock screen, ya, it's ok.

But on the notification bar, it's way toooooooo small to read the values. tongue.gif

haha, yeah truly indeed is so freaking small..
need magnified glass to c it properly.
haha

anyway, my darky 5.5 + speedmod 10k 256Mhz keep on hang whenever there is a message.
Have to restart in order to use back the phone. Why huh?

i use BLN option+Laggix Ext4 all+ the first 4 tweaks.

I think best that u use only 1 custom ROM.

I use only darky's 5.5 and it is ok.

Dear All,

I don't know if u notice any changes in the Wifi function or not.

Let me explain what im trying to say.

In the previous release of Android, the phone was on DXJG4. Using Wifi at my home, the wireless modem is at 1st floor hall, and when i use the hp at ground floor living hall, wifi signal shows 1 bar or none.

But now, the hp has XXJPU + Darky's 5.6, the wifi signal bar shows more than 2 bars and at times, 4 bars at the same location.

I think, Samsung must hv modified the ROM and increase the wifi signal strength.

That is why, most of u are complaining the battery level drops very fast when using wifi.

Just my 5 cents sharing.
