Guys any idea?
*
it's already been discussed few back pages from this thread. my opinion is you dont have to change it. it doesnt matter much, only the differences is you have to manually set your APN, like if you have XME before ( product code for malaysia),your apn will be set automatically. and pretty much for the warranty purposes, but dont worry la. smile.gif

QUOTE(anakrantau @ Dec 17 2010, 02:27 PM)
how to do that?
seem like my pc also does not detect my phone after the flash.

anyway I just remember that my Nokia N85 got 8GB microSD, might want to use that to transfer those files from PC to my SGS.
*
well, i'm thinking that the update.zip file must be the CWM. i dont know about the problem why your pc cant detect, but what i know your update.zip must be in internal sd card. if you still cant do it, perhaps the sifus will pop out some time now. smile.gif

Hi all. Few questions here:
1. If i wanted to send my sgs to service center, should i revert it to stock froyo (DXJPA) or stock eclair (DXJG4)? (already installed darkys v5.5)
2. Is the warranty card needed for the service or the imei number will do the part?

Thanks
*
just my opinion la

1. probably its the best you revert it to any stock ( froyo or dxjg4) as maybe they will ask you so many questions why you change the firmware. it will be no good perhaps.

2. you must bring your warranty card as for the proof of ur SGS. then the deal will be much easier.

Seem like m having the same problem with you.
Hopes tat someone can actually guide us.
will try ur method, however what was the reason behind doing this?
Mind to share smile.gif

well, my opinion la, it is because to improve your battery life and so that your battery charged at full capacity. i have those bug also before, whenever after pull out the charge, it shows 98%. then charge again to 100%, wipe batt stat, and now it showing 99%( i think thatsa better la, hehe). hope you find this helpful. smile.gif

it's Market Enabler. Fake provider like T-mobile (US) and you'll be able to see it later.

guys, just want to ask something about the Voodoo lagfix

is the Voodoo lagfix and system lagfix is the same? do i have to disable both to disable Voodoo lagfix?

_________________________________________________________

edit: already disable both of the lagfix, and my SGS still running smoothly. from what i can say, sometimes i got the FCs from certain apps because i applied voodoo. now ENJOYING Darky! thumbup.gif
