It happened to me. The K10 is really a juice sucker as the version progresses. I flashed I, J and K lastly revert back to Supercurio kernel. Speedmod good when on idle and suck your batt when you start data activities faster than Voodoo. It might be only happen on me but so far Voodoo serves me well. 9AM to 7PM with only 23% lost for today. A bit high considering I'm at basement this whole day. The 3G is struggling and sometimes I switched to Wi-Fi.

I'm running DXJPA with lagfix.

speedmod 10k is really a juice sucker? i was about to use that.

BTW, should I use Darky's Gingerbread Edition v5 or Stock Froyo XXJPU? Don't wanna make mistake else I gonna throw this phone away. The lagging make me upset!

of you are not a frequent user of FB, just use the browser instead..
saves your battery 'A LOT'..

But i didn't on 3G nor wifi, it still will sync? I alr off sync, but din not off background data though...

Really 5.6 can download? Okok....maxis line so slow here, how to download? I must go back Penang in the afternoon and try to download then...

For those who wud like to know how I customize, here how it works..

This is what I do before flashing ANY ROM. I strip any unwanted apps n put any KERNEL OR APPS before flash so everything can be done in 1 flash

1) I download any latest ROM that I would like to test (eg : now im on Darky's v5.6)
2) Since I dont wanna use voodoo which already preinstalled in Darky's, I download speedmod ODIN version which contain .tar, extract it u'll get zImage in it.
3) OPEN (DO NOT EXTRACT) Darky's v5.6 using 7zip, go to /updates. Here where kernel n modem are placed.
4) Just drag zImage which u extracted earlier from TAR file and put it in /updates. If u feel to customize ur modem (JPD for example), extract JPP_modem.zip (u'll get redbend_ua and modem.bin), drag n drop it in /updates.
5) if u feel to delete or add some .apk to be install during ROM flash, go to /system/app and add ur favourite .apk (eg : 8pen.apk) or delete any unwanted installer (eg : FMRadio.apk) .. BUT always refer to SGS Spreadsheet so u wont accidently delete any important .apks
6) Close 7zip, transfer to ur internal-SD n flash via CWM

By doing this u wont need to flash many times just to move from default kernel to another.. default modem to another or base-medium addon and medium-full addon... all these can be perform in 1 step

p/s : You might also install the theme as well using the same method. its located in /system/framework. same method in case u need to flash .apk via CWM, edit any addon zip file and drag in ur desire .apk and flash

dude, to be fair to this phone. i've got to say that u might have a few things turned on which drains your battery like crazy. it happened to me before.
I just changed a few habit and it lasted at least 40 hours a day.

1.) turn off "use wireless network" for location service. this drain most for me.
2.) turn off HSDPA and use 3g instead. HSDPA drains most battery.
3.) turn off wifi networks when you don't need.
4.) turn off GPS.
5.) turn off sync when u don't need to sync. unless u need real time updates on your emails or facebook stuff.
6.) use dark theme.
7.) turn off DATA access whenever you don't need to access the internet. or when you have a proper WIFI to connect to. having both wifi and data access on would drains a lot.

The longest time I can keep my phone on unplug until the last drop of juice is 5 days.
