batt usage is subjective. evry user has their own choice of usage.
as for me, my usage is about 5 sms every hour, 2 hour calls daily, 1 hour interval whether update, 1hour wifi and 15-30min data for fb and twitter

For those who wud like to know how I customize, here how it works..

This is what I do before flashing ANY ROM. I strip any unwanted apps n put any KERNEL OR APPS before flash so everything can be done in 1 flash

1) I download any latest ROM that I would like to test (eg : now im on Darky's v5.6)
2) Since I dont wanna use voodoo which already preinstalled in Darky's, I download speedmod ODIN version which contain .tar, extract it u'll get zImage in it.
3) OPEN (DO NOT EXTRACT) Darky's v5.6 using 7zip, go to /updates. Here where kernel n modem are placed.
4) Just drag zImage which u extracted earlier from TAR file and put it in /updates. If u feel to customize ur modem (JPD for example), extract JPP_modem.zip (u'll get redbend_ua and modem.bin), drag n drop it in /updates.
5) if u feel to delete or add some .apk to be install during ROM flash, go to /system/app and add ur favourite .apk (eg : 8pen.apk) or delete any unwanted installer (eg : FMRadio.apk) .. BUT always refer to SGS Spreadsheet so u wont accidently delete any important .apks
6) Close 7zip, transfer to ur internal-SD n flash via CWM

By doing this u wont need to flash many times just to move from default kernel to another.. default modem to another or base-medium addon and medium-full addon... all these can be perform in 1 step

p/s : You might also install the theme as well using the same method. its located in /system/framework. same method in case u need to flash .apk via CWM, edit any addon zip file and drag in ur desire .apk and flash

Dont extract.. just open via 7zip.. add/drop/del .. then close the window

i think voodoo drain too much batt.. or is there any setting need to be set?
4 hour 30 min n drop 30% + batt error when unplugged straight drop to 99%

i suspect the voodoo cause this as i nvr encounter this problem when i was on k11a 1000Hz

btw does voodoo drain juice this fast? 4 hours n 30% drop with normal usage

during 4 hours i answer few short calls, bout 10 sms, few min foursquare (GPS) and playing with the smoothness (doesnt meet my expectation tho) for 10-15min and there.. 30% lost. most of the time i was on idle

I understand all 7 things that u've mention in fact i already on all first 6 function except the 7th which is not necessary for me.
my comparison is base on the same setting (which is i aware of those u mention) but still voodoo is not that 'compatible' with my setting which surprising me. speedmod (any version) is by far suits me well.. enabling voodoo lagfix doesnt fit me well

wow voodoo n speedkernel together? how did u coding them together?

that is not possible speedmod will over-write voodoo kernel n only 1 kernel per ROM.
its not like having a virtual drive to boot another OS like pc

i think u can get it in \data\app named com.ebproductions.android.launcher-2.apk
