Hanasaku Iroha and Ao no Exorcist. In my books, they are better than Anohana.

I have mixed feelings about Anohana. It started well, but it got weaker towards the end. Nothing much really has progressed, and the characters did not change much until the last episode, in which the changes are awkward. I know each of them was traumatized, but the way they behaved really freaked me out a bit. The best character goes to Menma's brother!

Well their "overacting" was probably due to the amount of guilt and regret they bearing, the kind of guilt they can never forgive themselves for having that kind of ill intention, and the regret for not able to do something that should have been done....

When you finally let it out, it kinda burst like a ballon, everything just comes out so fast you just can't control it, thats where the "overact" kicks in.

Watched it till end and sorry to say, I dunno why I also not crying. Probably because too much watching tearjearking anime
So far Air was the only anime that made me man-cry. Angel Beat almost made me man-cry but still can hold on.

2.) Why they used the ending song that is produced 10 years ago? (That lucky girl also surprised Danny Choo as that question is also in his script but he do not have the time to ask the panelists.)

1)he's maniac. Menma is not dead to him.

2)Best choice plus the lyric is very suitable. Coz the story also after 10 years Menma died. The singer are different for anime. Seiyu sang the song.
