Yar lots of people prefer the female voice acting, personally I tried a bit but couldnt get into it, for me Shepard is MY male shepard with his randomly generated face from the first time I played ME1, I can't use another face now really.

For ME3 I just hope they don't go the whole DAO way with the "go do 4 totally independant missions to recruit race help and then come back to us" kind of scenario.
Or at least do it and weave it better than in DAO which, while good, always felt a bit flat in the personal involvement side.

From scenario point of view it makes sense Reapers go after Earth actually.

I just can't frikking wait for it... I managed to wait for ME2 to be on sales before buying it but don't think I can stop myself for ME3....

I'm betting we discover that the creators of the Reapers are...

I would take that bet since it's stated as early as ME1 that

I think they said before that if Shepard died in your game you will get a generic Shepard and the story will be that you actually survived, ie: your ending won't be taken into account.

The canon ending is at minimum Shepard surviving, could be some impact if other died or survived (I hope there will be)

Yar, that's what I meant about Shepard dying, your ending in ME2 will be ignored and so you can't import the save.

Canon ending is at least Shepard surviving.

I don't see why Bioware wouldn't allow imports of 'bad ending' ME2 shepherd. I mean ... at the beginning of ME2 doesn't Shepherd die and is brought back to life anyway?

Because they decided to smile.gif

Shepard is brought back to life at beginning of ME2 and they do say it was something incredibly difficult and almost a miracle it worked, so it's not like something they can do at will either.

And Shepard dies at the end of ME2 when he does the final sprint to jump into the Normandy when the station is about to either explode or have the "shockwave that kills everything but unliving things".

So in both case he would be dead and either reduced in atoms (if the station explodes) or burned by the shockwave (if you decided to keep the station alive)

Would be really silly to skip ME2 and get ME3... it's a continued story.

Grab ME2 during a sale or something to make you wait for ME3, you won't regret it
