too oldschool? u've gotta be kidding, isn't that the whole point of the G-class? it is a niche model whereby its main attracting factor IS the rugged old school take on what a mercedes suv can be... if you want more modern/streamlined SUV designs this certainly isn't it, mercedes has the M, GL, GLK classes instead...quite simply, it's mercedes' version of the land rover defender...
