Just wanted to cleared some things up about the 'customs' issue. Car rolled-out of the Proton factory already cleared all its customs tax (Proton paid), but before customer can get the car, the sales office need to pay back the tax to Proton 1st.

I do. Usually bigger company with lots of cash reserved don't have this problem, so its recommended to buy from main branch compared to sub-branch.

Can be true also. Since these system is dependant on each other. but if you got 'friend' inside, ask them to 'register' the car chassis and engine number to your name to avoid SA from giving it to other customer.
