guys, i just read the manual, our free service doesnt include CVTF as it is only done at 100k km?

That is way too long isnt it? our lancer counterparts have it at their 40k free service

btw, use only DIA Queen CVTF

You should get/be getting an extra booklet for your free service, it's an additional one. The vouchers attached to the service bookelet are void on all of ours. I got my additional free service voucher booket almost a month later. LOL. Some got when they collected their cars.

I book mine on 27/11/10 but still got 2 years service. Accept, its only for 1.8 CVT and manual only 1 year free service.

Same thing when I asked about the free service from the dealer. They said ended already. But different when you go to COE (HQ). They said still have. Like the one I said ealier.

I didn't remember seeing any 'void' inside my service booklet. And yes, there's a separate vouchers given during collection of the car.

I think Proton intended to give 1 year free service as a standard package plus another free year for those who booked during soft launch. However when the booking was so good and waiting list got longer they changed their mind and void all those standard 1 year free ones. That's why my SA told me and other buyers that 1 year free service was still available after the soft launch. Another news I got is that they will go "E-Voucher" in Feb meaning no vouchers will be sent to buyers. This makes things even more difficult as you have to check on line if you're eligible and pity those from smaller towns and serviced by dealers (may not be online). Total confusion. Proton is Proton. I didn't have that sort of problem when I bought my City with 2 years free service. Their HQ kept calling me every 3 months for 1 whole year if I have any complaints. I told them I was very satisfied and not bother me anymore. You see the difference?

I just installed 4 UR bars on mine this morning. biggrin.gif

Front Front Strut Bar / Front Tower Bar
Code : UR-TW2-440 (2 points)

Front Lower Bar / Front Member Brace
Code : UR-LA4-442 (4 points)

Rear Lower Bar / Rear Member Brace
Code : UR-RL2-447 (2 points)

Rear Lower Bar / Rear Member Brace
Code : UR-RL4-444P (one pair)

Felt the steering response more accurate and cornering more solid and confident.
