i think the problem here proton feels tht the 4G code engines for wira/staria/putra all cant take fully due to tappet noise later so thts why opt for tht, which i think after seeing some cars who really use the semi does avoid havin tappet sounds. so maybe it good also to follow as recommended ..

well to see how long the production frm proton till u receive the car, as thts the only obvious local vendor parts with date. as the others are minor local vendors parts, the windows are local but no display of the dates

did any of u really confirm when receive the car ,the car's production date?
it seems most of it were completed early this mth. for those who ordered since soft launch..
but only much later receive it, due to keep at their stockyard.
u can call the customer service to confirm..

i still think the mentality of havin yr end manufacturing date has lower Resale value(RV) is crap.
by logic yr end car doesn't mean its already 1 yr, its like comparing it to human birthdate, meaning already consider 1 full yr.
and thus the price of car is lower, i think if the next owner who buys it will be glad the actual fact is yr end car is as good as full new yr rather than the previous yr.
