No bank will reject good business especially if it is more than 1 year.

QUOTE(TeraPox @ Jan 4 2011, 01:22 AM) Guys, I have a few cards now, 2011 trying to cut 2 of them off.. to prevent gst... here r 2 of these 3 will have to go... UOB CITIBANK CIMB any advice? how can you even think of removing Citibank? oh come on! QUOTE(erry- @ Jan 4 2011, 08:23 AM) citibank should be 1 of the 2. coz its have annual fee (except for choice) but then, choice rewards is only applicable for block of rm50. swipe rm49.90 wont get anything! uob and cimb, both free for life (uob with condition). and u need to ask urself which card u nee the features most. example, if u shop at tesco/giant on sunday only, then stay with cimb (5%). if u pump at bhp then stay with uob (2%) - assume u on uob one card. so its up2 actually citibank can easily waive their annual fees. i have waived mine for 3 years now without fail.

QUOTE(kurtkantoi @ Jan 4 2011, 02:04 PM) Nice explaination. Currently Im holding petronas-maybank and aeon-jusco card. Maybe I'll try cina-india-melayu bank since I have active savings account with them. Do you think they will provide higher CL? Noted. I won't apply to this bank. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.. Tried before. They gave CL around 1.2xsalary only. How to prevent rm50 gst? mind to elaborate more.. No wonder. what a wrong choice of cards. Aeon-Jusco isn't exactly a financial institution so they won't be generous. Maybank is stingy when you're new with them but as of now if I am to use my payslip it would drop rather than increase and by a whopping lot too. You won't go wrong with CIMB as long as you pay promptly every time. Their CL increments are currently the steepest in the market.
