QUOTE(hye @ Dec 11 2010, 10:35 AM) Understand the concept of transaction and posting. While the transaction has occurred, the merchant need to post the transaction (to claim) before the card holder will see the transaction in their account. but it is still quite slow.. few days ago.. is Harvey Norman that slow I worry MBB might reject the ezypayment application though |

got a question regarding payment
my MBB Visa has its first ever statement dated 28 Dec, the outstanding balance let's say is RM1000, minimum payment amount is RM100, Statement balance is RM1000, payment due date is 17 Jan 2011 I already paid RM1000 today, so outstanding balance reduced to zero.. but say I spent another RM200 today, will it or will it not included in the current month statement? Do I still have to pay the RM200 before 17 Jan 2011? This post has been edited by dattebayo: Dec 29 2010, 06:33 AM |

hi, if my minimum payment amount is RM0, does that mean I don't owe them anything in the recent bill cycle?
but then, I have RM200 of statement balance, which is what I don't understand.. supposedly any spending after the bill cycle date (28 Dec) will only be carried forward in the next cycle.. ![]() This post has been edited by dattebayo: Dec 31 2010, 03:21 PM |

QUOTE(hye @ Dec 31 2010, 05:13 PM) If you paid in full (as required) and before the statement then nothing should be worried about. because already spent rm3.6k using ezy payment, so i think they converted the full amount into points, and from petronas petrol alone, should get at least 1500+ points.. so its not that hard to believe 1st month using cc and already your TP 6500+, I find that hard to believe. QUOTE(jensen_tidus @ Jan 6 2011, 06:16 PM) Meaning that you put a fix deposit with the bank and in return they provide u a credit card with the CL same as ur fix deposit amount. I wonder do they keep your original FD slip/cert as collateral after approving the card?Like say rm5000 fix deposit, then u get the card with 5k limit. |
