I registered Verified For Visa for my GSC EONBank cc. When using the eticketing system, you'd be prompted to enter the VFV password.

For my latest online ticket purchase however, I was surprised to find out that they no longer use the VFV system; instead a new code will be sent to the registered phone number via some sort of SMS. The message didn't go into the inbox (at least in my case), it just popped out on the screen with no sounds. If you're not looking at the phone screen you won't know that it's there. I don't know what it's called. hmm.gif

In my case the BT was approved on the 3rd day (appeared in online statement), the actual transfer (deposit to other CC account) took another 3 days.

petronas-maybank, so u should using petronas?

maybank give 5x points at petronas, so swipe rm2200 get 11k points, can redeem rm50 petronas voucher.

while cimb-petronas, it give 2% rebate at petronas and 5% on 1st day of the month.
ignore the 5%, take 2%, swipe (accumulate) rm2200 get back rm44 only (compare to maybank rm50).

and now got promo 5% rebate on sunday at tesco & giant.

so if u want to go to cimb, go for cimb-petronas (since u using petronas fuel).

Not sure if this promo is still available or not, but if you pump at Petronas using MBB Petronas card on Tuesdays you'd get 10x points.

Any one use DA paypass at Giant Before??? must swipe first then can use paypass for first time activation?
*
PayPass in Malaysia is HOPELESS.

The only place where I can use this swipe free system with 100% success rate is at GSC, by using the Visa Wave (similar to Mastercard's PayPass) feature on GSC Eonbank cc.

Hi everyone,

What is the best card for purchases on 0% installment plans? Which card most widely tied up to shops? Is it Maybank card?
*
Yup.
As for best card for purchases on 0% installment plans, it's subjective.
Currently, these banks offer:

PB = 6 months installment, 0% interest, even on non participating merchants.
Alliance = Same as above, but 12 months.
Ambank = Same as above.
