totally true, just charge RM2 only anyway, beats going through traffic and getting parking. might get saman too
got RM30 saman just waiting outside PBB bank this month at SS15 subang jaya, just how desperate is our gov now  sweat.gif  definitely won't be voting for BN now  vmad.gif
QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 18 2010, 10:34 PM)
That's why I rather stick with MBB. I'm not a MBB hardcore supporter.

Unless pay RM 2 for IBG to pay CC from other banks.
And if you have a Basic Savings Account, the charge would only be a mere RM0.50 only for the first 2 transfers done in a month.

QUOTE(yuunasue @ Dec 18 2010, 08:47 PM)
Refer to previous tread..
Doesn't any one automatic receive their advance card after few week? And what is CL you get? Ask for friend. Thanks
I got the wrong info when i first posted about HSBC Advance account a few months back which i had corrected a few days later.

Let me stress again that you must submit your salary slips in order to apply for this HSBC Advance VISA Platinum. The minimum salary required is RM60,000/pa. In order to be eligible for this card, you must maintain an Advance account with HSBC.

QUOTE(persistence85 @ Dec 18 2010, 08:48 PM)
thats mean deposit Rm20,000 then can get a HSBC Visa card?
No. You can't. With RM20,000, you can open an Advance account with HSBC and that's it. You still need to submit your salary slips if you want to apply for the HSBC Advance VISA Platinum.

QUOTE(yuunasue @ Dec 18 2010, 08:51 PM)
Need to maintained 20k in account. I think same as secure card.
No. It is different from secured credit card.

QUOTE(yuunasue @ Dec 18 2010, 08:51 PM)
But if you pledge a 200k you will auto entitle Premier card with CL 50k ( That limit only i get  hmm.gif )
You do not need to pledge RM200k. In fact, you maintain your HSBC Premier account with RM200,000 and you will be given a HSBC Premier MasterCard with a minimum credit line of RM30,000. That's it. No need to pledge any time deposit accounts at all. The HSBC Premier MasterCard is valid as long as you maintain your HSBC Premier status.

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Dec 18 2010, 10:35 PM)
Hi all, my credit card chip starting to have problem now, sometimes I need to get it swiped few times only can go through... can I get free replacement by going to the branch?
You can just give them a call. Tell them your card is faulty and you'd like to get a replacement card. Make sure you remember to ask them to waive the card replacement fee. HSBC for instance, can waive it on the spot. You won't see the card replacement fee charged to your account statement.

IF, for new applicant, better go for pbb esso/mobil.

u get cashback to cover your gst.
u can get cashback 8% on 1st statement if apply online.
u can get 15% cashback till 31/3/2011 (and car?) if u join the promo (via sms).

inside plus dont have.

but if exit kajang, go straight to bangi, esso is on the left after traffic light. there also offer 2x points.
*
actually i got one hsbc amanah card and i feel useless for this card. only 0.5% cash back which is damn small amount. if i apply pbb esso/mobil only can get 8% cash back for the 1st month right? and also they provide 0.5% for all usage?

nops. read t&c here - http://www.pbebank.com/en/en_content/images/tc_db10.pdf

Exclude all Co-Brand Credit Cards

since the card have esso/mobil logo, it is called co-brand.

It should read, the REBATE RATE of OCBC Titanium is the highest among all cards. Coming January 2010, the maximum cash back per month is only RM50.

if u really want to swipe rm10k with 1 card, go for pbb esso/mobil (free for life).
it give 0.5% so swipe 10k u will get rm50 too, but this card rebate is unlimited!

or if more than 10k, go for pbb visa plat (free for life with conditions), >10k rebate is 0.55%.
other cashback card that offer rebate unlimited are cimb petronas (free for life) & std chartered buss plat (both 0.5%).

Talking about big swipe, I had done enough survey before swiping a huge amount for partial downpayment of my recent property purchase. I needed to pay RM80,000 within 2 weeks and the developer accepted MC or Visa, but not Amex. During that time I only had Amex Gold cc, OCBC Titanium and SCB JustOne Titanium. I wanted a card which could give maximum rebate for the big swipe. I shortlised HLB Visa Essential, PBB Platinum and SCB WMC. HLB Visa Essential does not give cash back to offset the service tax for new card, while PBB Platinum's cash back and points are based on complicated tier system and PBB could not guarantee to deliver the card within 2 weeks. In the end, I applied for SCB WMC and received the card 14 days later. SCB gave me 30,000 points as a welcome gift. Soon after I received my SCB WMC, I paid the partial downpayment using SCB JustOne Titanium (RM10,000 for 5% cash back) and SCB WMC (RM70,000 for 2x points or 1% cash back). For those who are familiar witn SCB JustOne Titanium should know that this card gives 5% cash back for all types of purchases made on Fridays and the maximum cash back per year is capped at RM600. The reason I swiped only RM10,000 on SCB JustOne Titanium was that I had already spent more than RM5,000 and SCB JustOne Titanium needs an annual spending of RM15,000 for AF waiver.

After the huge transaction was made, I immediately applied for DA VI which was given 1-hour instant approval in Pavilion. Thereafter I submitted the application for the 0% interest BT programme for 6 months from SCB to DA. By doing this, I could delay the payment but at the same time, the money that I had reserved for the payment to the developer could also keep growing in my deposit account. biggrin.gif
