QUOTE(erry- @ Dec 18 2010, 05:19 PM) treat points given at all transaction, not only at petronas. just at petronas can get 5x. so pump rm2200 can redeem fuel rm10 voucher already. MBB offers temporary credit limit increase and of course, you can opt for permanent increase as well.but for comparison, CIMB Petronas swipe at petronas rm1000 can get back rm20 already while OCBC Ti rm1000 can get back rm50, at all petrol station of coz permanently. never heard such as temporary QUOTE(ck_tonny @ Dec 18 2010, 05:45 PM) I set my AMEX gold credit card as primary card before, after 1 year of usage I putted it into drawer due to low acceptance. Good news is 15% cashback is back again, and MR points that I earn can cover 2 years GST. Besides from the 5x TP with Petronas. I don't see any attractive deal with it. That's why seldom use it for usual swipe. Now left only DA MC and HLB visa in my wallet. Any new privilege from MBB Petronas Visa? (owned it before and canceled it in Feb this year) QUOTE(Gen-X @ Dec 18 2010, 05:45 PM) Well it is a fact that most of us know that Maybank Credit Cards (excluding AMEX) have the lowest admin fees for overseas transaction but is there a difference between using Visa or MasterCard? Below is a table showing my transactions in Singapore with different cards. I'm aware of those promo at those places but I'm not a frequent diner at those place. Fast food is not my favourite choice when comes to food. Canton-i is a little dear for normal working day lunch/dinner with colleagues. ![]() Check out the my transactions on 26th November where payments were made to same company for purchase of Universal Studios ticket with DAWMB and MBB Pet Visa. The conversion rate is almost the same! If you guys recall, zenquix mentioned before that his Alliance MC rate was lower than Alliance Visa for overseas transactions. The fact is for Visa cards, MBB the best but we should now find out MBB MC versus other MasterCards. If you very free, to read more on my comments on table above, click below link to My Credit Cards: http://creditcardsmalaysia.blogspot.com/ DA was the first to offer 0% BT and they are very efficient and payment made about a week from application. And David, i am surprised you asked what is good with DA? Use it at KFC and Burger King! Canton-i also got extra points with DA This post has been edited by David83: Dec 18 2010, 06:12 PM |

considering OCBC if PBB not giving me so much rebate this year. see wat kind of rebate they can give me after Feb2011. If no more rebate will cancel and switch to OCBC since got branch here at kajang
now still enjoying the PBB 15% & ambank 20 rebate...too bad for ambank cannot max it since its only for groceries and petrol on weekends. lazy to go tesco so far and dislike it for being so big to walk around...hehe only using ambank for petrol since get 20%...so far max rebate i can get for this card is only RM30 out of RM80 since hardly pump petrol. PBB card is better since can buy anything and get rebate for the promotion now, so buying stuff like crazy...haha hope don't bankrupt myself Added on December 18, 2010, 7:36 pm QUOTE(chemistry @ Dec 18 2010, 07:18 PM) IMHO, since OCBC Ti cashback is so generous, it is just small matter to pay that IBG fee. Refer to previous tread..
QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jul 12 2010, 12:59 PM) HSBC has just launched a new credit card today. It's called HSBC Advance VISA Platinum and is actually a complimentary card. HSBC Advance is a current account and replacement to HSBC PowerVantage. It is a lot like HSBC Premier in many ways, some of the benefits include the use of Global View and free Global Transfer between your local and overseas HSBC accounts (capped at US$10,000 for HSBC Advance and US$100k for HSBC Premier) which was previously available only to HSBC Premier customers. You need only an initial deposit of RM20,000 to open this account and the HSBC Advance VISA Platinum will be mailed to you in the next few weeks. Doesn't any one automatic receive their advance card after few week? And what is CL you get? Ask for friend. Thanks[attachmentid=1672385] |
