pbb esso/mobil got tier, more pump more rebates (max 5%).
also promo extra 3% till 31/3 thumbup.gif

rhb travel money give 5% on 1st weekend at all petrol station (cons: rm70 annual fee un-waivable).
ambg-carz also give 5% at all petrol station everyday but must have outstanding (cons: u will be charged with interest ~).
shell-citi also give 5% at shell everyday but must have outstanding too (cons: annual fee, and outstanding will be charged with interest ~).
*
We don't talk about high rebate on the condition of outstanding balance smile.gif
We talk about permanent feature, not promotion rate.

haiya.. i just get to know that my OCBC Titanium kena rejected. cry.gif what is the percentage for success if i apply again???

Added on January 6, 2011, 3:59 pmhey guys, i think no choice but to apply for the PBB Esso card but can i fax to them for my application??
*
If u reapply immediately with the same docs, very likely get declined again.
I advise you walk in OCBC Bank and get an FD-pledged cc.

too bad.. sad.gif i think i will choose PBB Esso then.. can i fax to them? do you guys know what is their fax number? i try to call their customer center but until now nobody pick up my call. sad.gif

Assume you spend RM200 on petrol each month, the rebate tier is 2%. You get RM4 per month. OCBC Ti gives you RM10 per month.

The difference of RM6 multiply by 12 months = RM72
more than gst.

How much do you spend on fuel every month?
Do you know PBB-esso cc cash rebate rate is by tier basis? Just a friendly reminder.

hi guyz,

what is the different between OCBC Platinum and Titanium? Seems like Titanium better or both same?

thx in advance
*
very very big difference.
Titanium offers the most generous permanent cashback rate in town. It has a monthly capping of RM50.

Guys pls do not mention Amex 15% cashback as it is a limited period promotio.

If one happens to hold OCBC Titanium and Amex, do you think OCBC Titanium better than Amex?
There is no right or wrong answer but this is purely discussion. There is no point to discuss here if you are limiting what can be discussed.
*
Will you really stop mentioning Amex just because I said "Guys pls don't mention Amex"? Wow you are so obedient. thumbup.gif

Are you in a bad mood today? oops.gif
Calm down man, today is Friday, let's cheer.

I don't think it is available online.
Card cancellation can be done by just an endorsed letter with signature, official letter is not necessary.

no need official one lar, trust me.
As long the letter states your intention of cancelling the card, usually the bank can accept it.

Guys, my maybank petronas cc until there is no GST charge . I saw my online CC number is XXXX-XXXX_XXXX-number. The front 12 number is only X and in the balance statement, it shows 0. meaning that my CC does not have any GST charge.very weird.Cos normally CC will be charged GST but does anyone out there has the same issue as me?
*
Maybe when you see those X become numbers, that zero will become RM50. Just wait & see.

I over hit RM50 rebate capping already.
As of 10/1/2011 my spreadsheet shows total rebate as RM50.50. .
I cannot use this card anymore until 11/1/2011 (new statement month)

Just realized that I can easily approach (if not hit) RM50 rebate capping of ocbc Ti. I'll have to retain my DA Mastercard for Tesco/Giant purchase. Last week bought a lot at Giant. Maxxed out its RM50 capping as well. This is a record in my cc history.

Omg,you just remind me their Call on Cash stuff. Thank you so much bro. With 0.5 interest, not only save the withdraw fee and also the daily interest fee. I forgot I hold the card and I got such benefit. Hehe..
*
I remember u have SCB platinum.
Few weeks ago scb offered me cheque on call, interest 0.42% per month.
You may BT this to another cc that offers 0% BT to avoid interest charge.

HLB call for cash is indeed an excellent product which has been receiving great response. OK OK, silence.:-P
FYI,interest charge of HLB call for cash is calculated on daily basis.
