go get the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary concert and play the DTS-HD MA 5.1 track at reference level. it will bring tears to your eyes. my current fav, surpassing even David Foster's blu-ray.

Some movies deliberately made with grains. Sharpness setting is should be turned off just because the BDs are already pixel perfect sharp as they're gonna be; anything the TV does is going to just be an optical illusion that might make you feel like the image is sharper, but really it's just affecting the coloration at edges.

this is the last flick i watched at cinema (on 2D)... though most critics slammed it, i kinda like it. it's rather simple & funny... & jack black was just awesome. the visual efx looked not bad and can't wait 4 it to hit bd. just wonderin when will they do School of Rock 2..... smile.gif

Don't think School Of Rock 2 gonna happen. A sequel would definitely be pointless.

I bought the trilogy DVD from Amazon few years back... even in the DVD the grains quite heavy on TMNT 1.

Luv the 1st movie... its like Dark Knight to Batman franchise imho... TMNT 2 definitely for the kids... the 3rd just awful.

They need to reboot TMNT with darker tone/mood... I believe the original comic for TMNT was very dark.

there r plans for a sequel but no confirmation yet. well, if u think about it... almost all hollywood movie sequels these days r pointless, if it's not from one whole story; like LOTR for example... hollywood's intention just 4 cashing-in on a successful title. nod.gif

haha... true2, but it's a one whole story divided in 3 parts. what i meant was most hollywood producers these days will create a sequel not originally intended when writing the first one just for making more $$$ from the success of the first one icon_rolleyes.gif
