The uk has better pq but a lossy audio codec.

I owned the US Digibook Shawshank Redemption and I think the PQ is ok... much2 better in hi-def compared to dvd version of course, but nothing to shout about. But those don't really matter much to me because it is the story that I loved the most. It's the only drama genre that's been on repeated viewing since vhs...

Celine Dion's Live in Las Vegas was my first BD.

I won't say devastating. I don't overspend either but it's depressing knowing that I am still spending this money even though logically, I know that spending on BD makes little financial sense.

I was watching Black Hawk Down suddenly at 1:08:02 while a soldier was reloading his M16 it freeze/pause then he saw a hand on the ground and picks it up

"Hmmm.... I love this movie and own it on 3 formats.... 3 disc DVD Deluxe Edition, UMD, and Blu-Ray. When you say, "skips around" are you referring to when the scene freezes, and all the sound stops for a second? If so, that is a part of the movie and not a defect. That scene freezes, right as he reloads on all 3 versions of the movie that I own. "
