my plan is to get dbrand skin but some how, i cant find transparent skin..
my system is rose gold version.. rclxms.gif .
i dont want any other skin to replace the cover..

There are some transparent skins on Ebay but quality is unknown. I can understand those with silver colored units wanting
to put on a dbrand skin but the rose gold version is just too pretty to be covered up. I'm deciding between a silver and rose
gold XPS 13 at the moment too

go for rose gold  rclxms.gif
silver has being many generation and like using old model if you go for silver  laugh.gif
which version you go with, i order mine Core i7, 8GB ram and 512GB SSD (Customize version)

Thanks, Steven. The Rose Gold looks more Copper so I'm glad it's not Pinkish. I think we will settle for an 8th Gen i5 with 8GB RAM
and 256GB SSD. It's a company purchase so we need to stick to the budget. My IT head is also looking at HP Elitebook 840 G5 but
we should be deciding by this week. Cheers and hope your unit arrives soon - would be lovely if you could post up some pics then rclxms.gif

Silly question as I am seeing conflicting information online. Does the 9370 come with a matte FHD screen option? Some
of the international reviews are still calling it FHD but it looks more like a glossy screen with AG coating.

Thanks,
V

I play light gaming still okie
Paladin, dota 2 and CS:Go FHD medium
Setting all smooth
Is glossy FHD but not that reflective ,
Kinda mix of glossy and matte material.

Thanks, Steven. Sucks that the all matte FHD screen was discontinued with the 9370. A friend bought one recently and he's
not too happy about the amount of reflection and glare it gets though the rest of the notebook is fantastic.

Below is picture comparison between matte dell monitor and xps 13 9370 bottom.
Dell LCD no reflection while xps like mirror laugh.gif

Bro, yours is FHD or UHD? Cos the UHD has always been very glossy and reflective. But if the FHD has gone the same way, I
may have to rethink my decision as I do work outdoors a bit bangwall.gif

Mine is FHD.. i did not take 4K cos I need longer battery
I don’t like bring power cable when going out coffee shop..
I only bring one power bank..
I scare 4K drain too much battery and my power bank might not last me for a day when I outing

Thanks, bro! Just read that Dell has added the Gorilla Glass protection layer on the 9370 FHD screen which explains the
glossy finish. So even with the AG coating, it's going to be quite glossy and reflective though not as much as the Spectre
range from HP.

The hardware is moving more and more towards an all USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 approach from Asus, Dell and HP especially with the newer
ultrabooks. But we have yet to see proper support from peripheral manufacturers for USB-C based accessories which means we'll be stuck
with Dongle-Life for a while more.

basically now day all accessories should hv USB-C
USB C external drive, USB C LCD monitor, USB C to HDMI monitor, USB C external DVD Drive, USB C pen drive, USB C phone cable for android and iOS and many more..
all already available... just you need change new cable or get new stuff. no need dongle if you only hv 1 usb C like macbook 12.

Haven't seen a good wireless mouse with USB-C interface yet (unless BT), bro! There are a few on eBay and Amazon but quality is so-so. Of course the other
way is to get a good all-in-one USB-C hub like the Dell DA300 and be done with it la ... blush.gif

Steven / Eugene, are either of you guys having any noticeable coil whine on the XPS 13 9370?
Just curious since this was quite common on the 9360 models. Dell's Rose Gold is a light shade
of Copper instead of typical Rose Gold - just wish they had Rose Gold with the black trim too confused.gif

oh yeah, do you guys any power bank that can charge the xps 13? was looking for one that could do it but not a dell power bank.. thats freaking expensive.
*
A good power bank with USB-C PD feature should be able to do that. Anker and RAVPower comes to mind but
I'm sure there are few other options in the local market. I think I have seen a few from Aukey and Tronsmart
too - however any of these must be able to send a min of 45W into the notebook or else it won't charge ...
