Hi all,
i've been using Dell XPS for many years now, since 2008 if not mistaken. Feel great using XPS and when i use other brand even with same specs, it just doesn't feel as good as XPS. Recently i notice there are a slight uneven on my XPS 13 around the Z, X, Windows and Alt keys. That particular area seem like slightly "bengkak" but so far all 4 keys still functioning. Below the area where i circle in red. Anyone having the same issue? Is it battery problem? Why it happen? ![]() ![]() |

You may be able to ask them if this is common and if anything can be done about it.i've been using Dell XPS for many years now, since 2008 if not mistaken. You can check it out here. But don't think they have one that old. I asked them before buying and they said generally their units are a year or just less than 2 years old. You can check out the XPS 9370 on their website for a pretty good price. Best place recommend? QUOTE(bebear1980 @ Jun 28 2019, 02:19 PM) Hi all, Usually due to battery bloated. If i were you i will quickly dismantle it to ascertain it. If you leave the bloated battery unattended too long, it will crack open your bottom cover possibly damaging other components too .i've been using Dell XPS for many years now, since 2008 if not mistaken. QUOTE(afiqsabri @ Jul 8 2019, 09:06 PM) i have been think it as well, the think is XPS has more battery life vs 80whr, but thinkpad has 2 ssd pcie slot....and keyboard on X1 way better.... The main advantages of X1 Extreme are less quality issues and hiigher QC. Not specs. Higher capacity doesn't 100% mean more battery lifeThis post has been edited by ZM Fong: Jul 8 2019, 09:40 PM |

QUOTE(afiqsabri @ Jul 8 2019, 09:41 PM) XPS 15 is plagued with issues - for years. Never recommend it (the iGPU model is still OK but not available in Malaysia). Not to be confused with XPS 15 9575 2 in 1 which is decent but I hate the non-upgradeable RAM and high price |
