No news about that yet, but I think the engine and transmission is same with Alza...

haha..look a like already..but the boot door and bumper totally make a lot of different to the car..

its original passo hana .. directly import from japan.. see the emission sticker at bottom right of rear windscreen the car already registered or pass japan puspakom test for emission testing

yea agree FAT = not so easy to terbalik. but keep it at 1.3 la. 1.5 is over powered imo. The current myvi drive 110km/h already inbalance. Any faster is going to kill more ppl.

How come both cars have the same number plate? I know it's removeable but both don't look alike at all

Very dangerous to drive MyVi. Last week, a stewardess driving a myvi just
turn turtle before/after bang with satria.

haiyo.. turn turtle bcos people during wanna accident freak out... so they will tweak the steering in a blink of second. with power steering a quick freak out turn mean turn alot which will cause turtled car.. so it case of emergency.. dont tweak ur steering too much.. must learn to control.. tat y malaysian need tactical driving... not another auto tranny license which is about to commerce..

thats my opinion too. She turn too quickly. But I think if the CG is low, turn quickly might not
turn turtle that easily.

But Myvi has a really soft body. I was rear-ended by a Myvi before and guess what happened. The bumper clips broke, and the bumper pushed back against the fender panels. The fender panels buckled backwards, and end up jammed against the door. The driver couldn't open her door after that, from a medium-speed rear collision!

Another female friend's Myvi scraped against a lorry on her driver side, and end up the door buckled against the rear door and B-pillar, and she couldn't open her door also!

I'm not surprised why there is a high incidence of Myvi drivers and passengers being trapped in their vehicles even after moderate collisions, and why some have even burned to death as a result of not being able to open their doors after an accident although they are otherwise only bruised!

brake at turn quickly is turtle time due to speed and a slower front with heavy nose and light a$$.. but if u learn tactical driving u might be able to turn back jus in time with the help of abs as ur wheel dont lock up

They wont price it the same as Alza.If not Alza is dead...

I'll makesure that this is one of the criteria that i look for when buying a car ? Maybe euro NCAP rating might help ?

I think the price wont more than RmM60k for 1.5L

RM60K siao can get alza already.....

But the car size is optimum for lady...

i'm working at a steel manufacturing company. we supply steel to proton as well and perodua as well. recently we get changes in dimension for steel order by both company. and some older steel order are no longer in need. from what we heard, alza and myvi will have changes either in design.

The orange one is the CBU type. Looks ugly but am sure P2 will mod it to look much nicer like the current myvi.

they'll just phase out the existing Myvi lar. its been unchanged (drivetrain) since launch in 2005. 1.5 ... its tempting... and makes the 1.3 Saga look underpowered.

later proton will also release 1.6 saga. not so difficult to them liao

With the 1.5 litre engine, the horsepower-per-tonne definitely will increase. If they manage to keep the weight of the car remain around 1 tonne.

The front improve alot from standard myvi. the back...dont look diff tho.
