Geno, bear in mind that Tomshardware tests using MAX settings and does not include Raid/City environments.

Possible build:
CPU: AMD AM3 X2 555 (excellent value for money, possible unlockable cores) - 280
RAM: 4GB DDR3 (just the right size) - 160
GPU: GTS450 (I agree with your selection, this card is good value) - 460
Motherboard: Asus M4A77TD (770 chipset is old but suits your basic needs) - 250
HDD: Any 1TB hdd - 200

I know most people will disagree with selecting AM3 over core i3/i5, and you are right, but this is a save money build. i3 and above will cost a few hundred more, which is difficult because you need to include a monitor.

Okay okay, if you prefer Intel.

CPU: Core i3-540 (best price/performance in i3 range) - 375
Motherboard: ASUS P7H55-M (good mobo for the low price) - 300
RAM: 4GB DDR3 (just the right size) - 160
GPU: GTS450 (I agree with your selection, this card is good value) - 460
HDD: Any 1TB hdd - 200

Any casing/550W power supply will do., then the whole setup will be around RM1800 to RM2000. A good quality 23" LCD will be around RM550. So total will be around RM2500.

Happy shopping!

Actually 6870 is significantly better than GTX460 in mainstream 3D games, just not World of Warcraft. rclxub.gif

Also the price difference is only around RM100.

Finally, temperature on load for both cards are almost the same.
