The aperture really lots of difference loh. If take at f4 compare to take at f2... at same shutter speed, to get good exposure, the ISO need to increase a lot, really sacrifice the detail and quality of the picture. Imagine ISO 800 VS ISO 2000++ Using 18-55mm kit lens, at 18mm the maximum aperture is f3.5; If zoom into 35mm, the maximum aperture is f4? at 55mm the max aperture is f5.6, gone case in low light.
yea saw it the battle of the bokeh hahaha. yea thats why my next lens will be 1.8 or below

Sifu DSLR and normal camera SDHC card is different. Nobody go get 32GB like all the photos u gonna keep at 18 megapixel? DSLR highly recommended to get EXTREME III cards it more expensive than normal SDHC for video recording

At the moment I want only a walkaround lens. 18-135 is what I'll ask my mum to buy coz it's 1 of the lens kit option for 550D.

You can try watch this for roughly the starter kit you can get; a zoom + prime lens is a good combination to have especially since the 50mm f/1.8 is cheap, for low/tight budget, it's a good choice.

Yea extreme III card or else my video recording start 5 sec then straight stop. Then if i continuous burst shots too many will busy busy busy busy busy. Change extreme III problem gone. I got free also 8GB class 4. I keep it for emergency only
sifu nice video but i think the music quality abit low. Can hear cracking sound lol. Beside that GREAT VIDEO

Correct. If u like to take photo at high shutter speed u need a higher speed as well because the write speed must be fast enough to write into the memory card or else u see a message BUSY BUSY BUSY keep popping up
