Hello again.

My almost one year old rabbit stinks! His pee and poo is very smelly. I keep him in my room so it effects me alot. I read in this rabbit thread is to get a woody pet bedding for it? How do i use it? Currently he's in a wired cage, and i put newspaper underneeth and he pee at cone corner but sh*t everywhere.

I'll get one woodypet bedding soon, but how do i use it? place it in a bowl and put under the cage or inside the cage?

I saw somewhere theres this powder, u insert into his water and his urine wont be so smelly, is that ture and will it be harmful to my rabbit?

one last question, what will rabbit react when they're in a smelly environment? Today while i was preparing food for him, after inserting food in the cage, he jump and bite my hand then go away. Nothing is wrong, he's not starving nor thirsty, he just decided to bite me. The only thing i notice is the smelly smell. Can it be?

thankyou in advance! smile.gif

smell does not cause rabbit to bite you. nothing related at all. he bites you because he thinks you're his MATE. He wants to ride on you.

There is something called a litter tray. A triangular litter tray that you put on the corner of the cage where he likes to pee/poo. Woody pet wood pellets u put inside the Litter Tray.

Share with you something. Food also makes a lot of difference in terms of smell. Try feeding American Pet Diner Timmy pellets. You will soon notice that your room is odor free....

Good luck!

ride on me? lol! American Pet Diner Timmy pellets? where do i get them and at what price? I used to feed ProOptimum, but he love to eat it, less than a month 2boxes gone! I'm not free to go to the pet shop as there's no pet shop nearby my house, so i went to the place i bought this rabbit to buy some pellets. And after eating those his pee and poo stink. If the American Pet Diner Timmy pellets is priced almost the same as pro optimum then i might switch to it.

Btw, I drink carrot, apple juice everyday, i have a juicer. can i feed him those extracted things? the wood pellets is for eating or absorb smell?

thankyou in advance! smile.gif

You can order Pro Optimum online my friend and if there is no smell using Pro Optimum why don't you continue? You should just continue with Pro Optimum.

This is how you use Woody Pet:

Pro Optimum have smell too, but not as fast as the cheap one that the rabbit shop sells. The cheap one smells 1-2hrs after he pee/poo. The pro optimum can last at least 6hrs. But my rabbit is in my room, cleaning every 6hrs is quite impossible for me.

thanks for the pic!

ThankYou in advance

hello again.

i see some internet guides. they say hay is their main diet. means i feed hay more than pellets? some say provide unlimited ammount of hay. so means i feed hay everyday and pellets once a day? but i see my rabbit shop, they only feed their rabbits pellets, those cheap pellets, so i got the concept of "pellets are rabbits main diet" until i read some blogs. and how much pellets do i need to feed my rabbit a day and how many times a day? my bunny is arround 9-10 months old.

btw, how much does a pet litter tray cost? i went PLC today any saw it selling for rm90! omg!

thankyou (:
