Dear All,
My Hotot Bunny recently making sound (but not sure is Whimpering/Whining/Grunting sound) time to time, like while she resting or enjoying meal also make the same sound. Although that sound not happen all the time, but it already happened around 1 week plus. (Kindly refer video below and turn your speaker louder to listen her sound) Youtube Link p/s: Below is direct post for YouTube, but it keep on prompt error on playback.. My Hotot bunny info: Female, 7+ years old. Not spay yet. She can sleep, eat, running around & poop as usual. Don’t see any uncomfort sign at the moment. Have try called Hand n Paws for Dr Jenny appointment, but they say Dr Jenny is retired and they no longer offer vets for bunny.. Appreciate your feedback/advice. Many Thanks.. Dr Lynette or Dr Loh. Number is +60351228386 They are closed on today Wednesday tho. Another place u can try is St Angel Vet in Puchong. 03-5891 1884 I do not know if they are rabbit savvy but I did bring my rabbit there once for an xray. |

Have went to visit Dr Loh @ Hillpark Vet.
She conclude our bunny have very light & clear mucus fluid at her nose area, can see it if use touch light directly beam at her nose area. That's why she make sound intermittently during her breathing. Luckily only affect at nose area, still in clear color and didn't affect to breath system & lung area. She have issue multi-vitamin to let her boost her health & monitor the progress. She also advice like below: - Clean her living area more frequent, especially toilet area. As our bunny like to rest & sleep at toilet area, so those bad germ already start challenging her health. - Minimize all those powdery thingy like hay debris & pallet debris. (Just like human, if keep on breath with those dusty debris. Our nose will also get sneeze & nose will build-up mucus fluid) - Minimize aircond to her (Also like human, dry air might also irritate the nose) Hopefully she get well soon after we correct those finding. Cheers.. QUOTE(Sony Ericsson @ Oct 31 2019, 09:24 AM) |
