Honestly will alone rabbit act like a MONSTER? My rabbit tend to do whatever way to catch attention or act naughty. She will bite items when we just say her a little word. Pushing her away a little and she will find the person shoe to bite T_T

She is only 2 years 3 months for now but since we brought her home, her true color showed. My friends rejected to keep her for a day from the day she at her house and act like a Princess by throwing food outside of the cage. OUCH~ no people want to keep her even the shop that sold her out. The shop uncle kept ask whether she die edi whenever we pass by his shop TROLL!

when she still young

if its teeth problems you need to go to the vet.
male or female?

Haha went to pet shop evening just now. It suppose to be Digestive problem as we stop giving her grass since we moved to condominium. Gonna get some grass for her soon. brows.gif finally we know the reason lol.

looks like a nice cage but it looks expensive and your rabbit will outgrow it very quickly, unless you going to make it as a part of its playpen area like this...

you have the cage as his hiding place when he feels unsecure  nod.gif
for indoor or outdoor?
below is a nice idea for indoor.

My rabbit passed away this morning. 2 years old and 4 months. The reason I think is being too old as her reaction slowed down past few months. Feeling very bad and down now doh.gif cry.gif

She is only 2 years and 4 months. We think that she is old liao coz she inactive past few months, not like last time when she still young and energitic.

No new rabbit as my family love her so much. Couldnt take the pain to loss one more and the memories she gave us is sufficient, we use to raise her like a cat, let her out from cage everyday to jalan2. Will find a place bury her later as we wanna bury her at nearby place so she can feel very close to us.

Yup exactly, their feeling is very strong. But thank god, she leave very peacefully. :'(

some people saying abbit sensitive and the vege need soak in water b4 feed.

and is safer to feed the dry food and hay .

feed too much banana / apple /  rabbit can  stomach diarhea  and die  .

maybe sugar?

i gt bad experience , i cant forget it , i still searching for it that lookalike .
*
I see, but she just seems hate dry food. Hay she used to move all and throw outside of cage. Other food she didnt
eat much.

Still unsure whats the cause, persuading it may be her age is kinda old. When last time we took her home,
The shopkeeper uncle mentioned that she is just 6 months but we doubt about it.
As she started to reach 16 months, her movement became slower and eye sight seems a bit not good de.

How old was ur rabbit previously? Mine good memory as she will do all sort of crazy aka cute action. Imagine that she will kiss ur leg for a while after you open the cage for her. rclxub.gif

I normally feed the mixed vege food as supplement,

they all very like it

user posted image

out of all rabbit only 1 dont know how to eat hay.
very rare.

but i recommend banana , once a week.

but normally at most i give 1 small piece per day only.
1-2 mouth of banana. to test whether they are ok or not , if they eat ok , no eat no ok.

i give pellet , banana , and delikate.

or u can find alternate mixed vege like delikate ,eg in chubyypetgarden, they very like it.

rabbit stomach will stuck if it keep eat is friend hair , or own hair , or cage got rabbit fur stuck on the cage wall.

clean the wall prevent they eat , and give a lot hay i like give alfalfa , so they stomach ok , and can live long .

or u can buy this
http://www.chubbypetsgarden.com/webshaper/...kProductItem=71

dont buy fruit version , too much rabbit can diarhea ,

buy the vege version
*
For her, the food that we gave mainly carrots, pellets, yogurt and grass since she young. For the high
vitamin food like yogurt, we just give her 1-2 per day as we found out 4 for her caused her stomach not okay.

Briter Bunny brand was the last brand pellets that we gave her. That one in the link you sent we gave before.
Briter Bunny she took it about few packs and her fur tend to become very pretty. Her fur was kinda short and less before.

She live alone in her cage as she is the only pet we having. For the fur part, she likes to hang her fur all over cage to mark it as her place.

Overall as for your past experience, 2-3 years old rabbit consider old? We dunno much as she is the only pet we have and my aunt rabbit all bye2 just within few months. Old rabbit eat a little and movement slower? She tend to eat very less past few months. Haiz..

last tme my rabbit pass away time , i used to put in my garden area,

my mom did b4. until she doesnt like rabbit anymore.
she bought dogs , and she start hate rabbit,
at the same time she got this mental problem , schizophrenia........

she refuse to let me  put on garden , even throw rabbit body away , say she bury on garden already , i dig and i very angry didnt , she even report police first to cover her own backside.
then she twist story , didnt say she throw my rabbit , i go there police shout at me , want fight .......
until i say it , the police ask my mother to show where she throw.

and she renovate house , purposely ask bangla to dig all tanah ,she knew which spot  i put ,purpose ask bangla dig all out , and put cement.

since she went back from rental house , she went crazy full time , everyday shout fight with god/ ghosts.

since then i will pray and throw at empty land / with very high wild grass area just beside my house.

but then the land renovate and  turn into car park.
all the rabbits i put again it was all dig by bulldozer.

i want ask , where should i put rabbit to bury , if they passed?

i still remember the time our primary school tortoise died , we put on behind padang area..................

Try find a place where you find it suitable. I buried my rabbit at a place nearby factory and shoplot. Put inside box and plastic bags outside of the box. Paid to one worker nearby to buried it. Feel really glad that the place is very peaceful and not much of noise. My rabbit used to hate noise environment when my little cousin came my house. My house always in peaceful environment as no kids around.

And yes, folks, you can rescue rabbits from unscrupulous breeder. Just recently I got myself a mix lop (which they branded as fuzzy lop but was actually a lionhead mix lop) and have been trying to fix the GI stasis she's been having for days (which was clearing btw). Not sure whether its normal for breeders to sell you sick bunny and the guy have been sort of desperate to let it go because he's been moving his business to other state. (suspicious)

Btw, my other adopted bun was on Cuni Natura when I got it and I dont recommend it. It have weird shit like orange skin, seeds and corn in it. I do recommend these puffed pallets types (better absorption and easier to digest) but not with added weird things in it.

I do give my bun banana and apples but probably once every two-three weeks as a treat. Nowadays I give them grape leaves from my mom's vines (she wont notice it anyway haha) and occasionally I feed them parsley but not everyday (tried it but the bun ignore them the next day).

And Devon, I'm sorry that Baby died. From the picture she does look like she's wasting and underweight for her age. My 4 month bun look exactly like that and I've been giving her a lot of pallets and timothy hay and gave her loads of fluids and been massaging her abdomen every few hours.

Its not about sugar fruits giving diarrhea. Its more to imbalance in the GIT's normal flora as too much sugar can cause the bacteria to bloat, especially in cases of GI stasis. Sometimes its not the feed's fault as bunnies can be susceptible to other parasites which do cause dysentery and/or diarrhea.

Hi dear,

Haha no worry as I believe my rabbit moving to heaven soon. She used to be naughty but very cute and behave most of the time. As for her age, she was very obese before. Therefore one of the pet shop at Sunway advise not to give her too much food. We only give her 1 box of pellets, 2 carrots & 1-2 pieces of yogurt per day. Sometimes we do give her some vege but depends on her body condition. A week maybe once. She was healthy all the way but her face started to turn old since.

She was like this before. About 1 years old +.

user posted image

Then this about 2 years old

user posted image

Can see from her face a bit old. We always check her body condition regularly but still .... Her body seems big after we brought her home.

Before that she was skinny at the shop there. staying alone and her food probably just a piece of vege.
