QUOTE(ally19 @ Jul 29 2011, 11:14 PM) i know what you mean. mine always bite stuff and very naughty. then when i want to scold or pat her bum she act all cute and innocent. put her paw on your lap or lick/smell your feet. today my dad played round robin with her. he went round the sofa holding the apple and she followed. then he gave a small piece first and she ate. then she jumped up but there wasnt space so she slide down. then he gave her another bigger piece. she only ate half then ate her hay. my dad said shes smart cos she know the apple was sour so she didnt finish... LoL, sour apples are the green ones right? I usually feed mine an apple on Wednesdays only - something sort of like a weekly treat. Other days all he gets is pellets and hay

QUOTE(ally19 @ Jul 31 2011, 12:42 PM) yup those are green. but my dad ate the red ones. somehow it was sour. the rest was bordering on tasteless to sweet. her meals daily would be pellets, hay and one bak choy (a leaf at a time or she'll ignore the rest). treats are either apple or carrot. hard to give her weekly apple treats since we have them almost everyday. Almost everyday? I only feed once a week cause apples are so pricey ><" LoL

QUOTE(sheauyun @ Aug 16 2011, 10:21 AM) but i feed them with hay for 4 days (without pellets) and then their poos no sights of furss oo Is the ingested fur suppose to come out with the poo?! Need someone more pro to help with this .. LoL QUOTE(madfag @ Aug 16 2011, 10:23 AM) not all rabbits like carrots. you can give fruits as treat, rabbits have sweet tooth. my rabbit loves all kinds of fruits, banana is his fav, pineapple, orange, apple and whatever fruit lah. but then i only give him in very small doses and he is fine so far, he loves it. but the best would be giving them alot of hay and clean water. that should be their main diet. i give my rabbit APD hay and he finishes all of it very often, always need to reload. dont be bothered to give them too much carrots or other veges, hay is the best for rabbits. APD Hay!! It's like .. high-class hay? May I know where you purchase it from, which hay (timothy Gold / High-Fiber, Alfalfa / mountain grass) , and at what price? Added on August 16, 2011, 1:09 pmcorrection, its 5lbs for RM100. Wow! That's like MYR100 for 2kg of hay I'm currently feeding my bunny Briter Bunny pellets and Hay-Pro: Timothy Hay

Planning to let my bunnies be free in the house garden,as in, cage-free. They can nibble the grass, and run free =) But.. I don't have any borders to prevent them from running away/out of the house and, no shelter for them if it rains. Can anyone here recommend things I should do and get to prepare them to stay cage-free in the garden? They love to eat the cilipadi plant's leaf.. the bottom half of the plant already botak LoL

QUOTE(ally19 @ Sep 4 2011, 04:53 PM) i was thinking about getting one too. mine had trial runs with the sofa. the next thing i know, she was ON her cage! which is 20". what you can do is cover the top half with tarpaulin/tarp then the other with mesh. so they can get some sunshine and also shade. maybe you can put the cage in so when it rains they've got shelter. water would flow around the grass and they might get wet from lying around. not to mention the mud. Yea, kinda worried about the raining part too They're afraid of water and there's a mini pond nearby, they won't jump into it, right? LoL Going to start working soon, time spent with them will definitely be on the low, won't have time to take them out and put them in so often after a hard day of work LoL .. that's why I'd rather put them at the garden full-time. For now I still put them back in the cage and placed indoors after letting them loose in the garden during the evenings

Does a red-eyed/ruby-eyed rabbit indicate that the rabbit is unhealthy?

QUOTE(lm_meileng @ Sep 8 2011, 08:51 AM) hi, u need to be very alert when u let yr bunny free roam in the garden. bunny is an expert in digging burrow and they love to do that all the time. they might escape thro' the burrow that they dig. LoL, they don't seem to burrow much.. they just run and hop around, and after awhile, just relax under the shady plants

QUOTE(dantck @ Sep 8 2011, 12:31 PM) LoL, I know what you are referring to - the pure white bunnies with red eyes But no, that's not what I'm asking.. erm.. how to say.. I have a gray bunny - which I have no idea what breed it is, and she has red eyes. Does this mean she is unhealthy or has some genetic disorder
