Give him back, ask him to take care till 8 weeks only take back from him. It is outrageous and unethical to pass baby rabbits under 8 weeks....
3 weeks is really ridiculous....
*
i think my new rabbit is quite young.
probably under 8 weeks is palm size.
look kinda sickly, is not a lop but one ear is lop type another is pointing upwards like normal.
bought him coz my gf likes his color and seems to be the same type as copter.
copter also had such ears when we bought him.
i'm thinking i can save him if i buy him, if some other kiddo buy.....probably will die.
there was another white color with spots which seems more healthy i didn't buy coz thinking that looks stronger might survive even with inexperience owners.
just kinda sad i can't save every pet from unethical breeders taking advantage of CNY vmad.gif

Hello again.

My almost one year old rabbit stinks! His pee and poo is very smelly. I keep him in my room so it effects me alot. I read in this rabbit thread is to get a woody pet bedding for it? How do i use it? Currently he's in a wired cage, and i put newspaper underneeth and he pee at cone corner but sh*t everywhere.

I'll get one woodypet bedding soon, but how do i use it? place it in a bowl and put under the cage or inside the cage?

I saw somewhere theres this powder, u insert into his water and his urine wont be so smelly, is that ture and will it be harmful to my rabbit?

one last question, what will rabbit react when they're in a smelly environment? Today while i was preparing food for him, after inserting food in the cage, he jump and bite my hand then go away. Nothing is wrong, he's not starving nor thirsty, he just decided to bite me. The only thing i notice is the smelly smell. Can it be?
thankyou in advance! smile.gif

toilet train your pet.
hay and pallets shouldn't stink.
i keep him in the hall and no smell.

QUOTE(sangterap @ Feb 15 2011, 10:02 PM)
You can order Pro Optimum online my friend and if there is no smell using Pro Optimum why don't you continue? You should just continue with Pro Optimum.

This is how you use Woody Pet:

was thinking about this but i think he is used to the square box i have for him.
i shouldn't change right?
plus i don't think that is enough for his daily poo's. doh.gif

u imagine his back facing the side of the cage. the cage has holes one wad. then usually he lifts his butt up, then he pee, the pee shoot outside of the cage la. i dont think he does it on purpose, cause he is after all inside the cage when he pee.

i think maybe you can keep her in the cage for a longer period of time, like few days, only let her come out for a bit once in a while. when she gets used to the cage, maybe she will go pee and poo there.

i didnt purposely do it, but this is what i did to my rabbit when i first got him. i didnt let him out alot. now i let him roam freely on the balcony. when he want to eat/pee/poo, he goes back to his cage.

you have a kind heart zenix. I don't mean to be cruel but it is this same statement that you had in mind that indirectly encourages more cruelty and care less attitude by sellers. A lot of cruelties thrive because they feeds on emotions and sympathy. I used to have this type of thoughts as well, "better in my hands than theirs". Now, I only visit pet stores for products and accessories. I rarely visit their live stock sections because I do not want to feel sad for the animals.

madfag, you did the right thing by limiting the space that your rabbit roam and that really helps in litter training.

Added on February 16, 2011, 8:33 pmThat is the reason why the triangular litter tray has raised sides so that the pee does not go out of the cage.
