Kinrara Vets

(Behind IOI Boulevard and same row with Pet Lovers Centre)

Tel : 012 6867363

the charge RM240++

I have yet to send my bun but has made queries to the doc.
He quite experience in spaying during his time at UK.
Problem at Malaysia is there is no supply of anesthetic for rabbits, so he use anesthetic for cat.

He advised that the risk is high

Hi Folks,

I have a pet bunny at 5+yrs old, Nd, and He has suddenly stop eating for the past 1 week, there is very little to no poo and he drink much less compare to before. He seems to be very quiet, less friendly and become more timid recently and im seriously worried.

Can anyone advise the cause or how i can make him eat while waiting for his regular vet to revert? has emailed the vet this morning but didnt get any reply. called to vet centre they informed have to wait for vet to reply by email. I'm very worried.

Anyone can help or advise next better vet to treat above condition? Understand bunny is very fragile and do not wish to risk him at hand of inexperienced vet. Pls help.

Thanks.

on the first post look for "11. Rabbit Savvy Veterinary Contacts:" bring your rabbit to one of them asap.
if he doesn't eat or poo, he won't last long.

fyi after I called tmn Segar vet contacts stated at first page of this channel, I'm informed there is never a Dr Chong there.

I highly recommend Dr Jenny @ Aman Suria.

Went to St Angel Dr Ling y'day, he didnt inspect bunny with any instrument and failed to bring my petbunny out from carrier. Prescribed pineapple which Dr J today discouraged. And given an antibiotic which Dr J isnt familiar with.

Today morning apptmt with Dr J was much more thorough and detailed. Bunny's intestine upon checking has no sound n movementat all and is diagnosed for intestine infflamation, Dr J gave water drips and injected to cure inflammation in the intestine and said she is surprised my pet bunny survived. no fruit juice encouraged now, merely vege, oxbow critical care, vitamin, pain relief and antibiotic till dropping comes back and turn to normal.

fyi once bunny reached home he started eating a small portion of orchard hay.

Just sharing...in case any1 encounter similar condition in future.

and if your bunny needs a vet and you happen to be in KL/PJ, Dr J is recommended. good day
