QUOTE(ally19 @ Jun 29 2013, 02:42 PM)
I keep mine outside. I place her cage at the glass door and there's a bit of overhead roof. She has a playpen and inside I put her cage and carrier. To cover it my dad bought a thick plastic sheet. Like those used in restaurants but not the transparent and thin type. She can look out from 2 sides, one is facing the inside of the house and the other is facing the driveway. The one facing the driveway has a coroplast cover which I use when it rains heavily or to keep hot air out.

Birds and squirrels/shrews always come into the house compound but shes not scared. Only when the birds chirp non-stop then shes starts to thump. We have tins tied to mango tree so we just shake them to scare them off. There's one or two stray cats around but they rarely come in.

Will update with picture later.

If yours is landed property you can consider a hutch like this.
Protect against cats and eagles (if your area have) yet still open for her to enjoy the outdoors.

I have one too but it's better to have a friend.
Not polycarbonate. It's vinyl.
Would like one of those too but mine would gnaw her way thru those wood.

This is how her cage looks like. The floor is wet cos I just cleaned it. The hay is in the carrier so its not so messy. There is also a towel on the floor for her to lie down.

This is when I put one side of the cover down. I secure the top with paper clips.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The playpen door is facing in cos easier for me to open from inside and she can go in and out.

its okay gnawing is good for their teeth
its nice but it depends on your to move her around, if she is used to it then its fine.
but they don't always adapt to new things.

She's used to the setting already. I once changed the cage to face sideways and she wasn't happy. She toppled over both toilet, messed her hay and pooped and peed all over the floor rclxub.gif .

I'm still looking to improve it but have to wait until I start earning.
*
well the longer you wait the more comfortable she is at her current situation she won't like change.

Wow, thank you so much for the info. My mom was kinda worried about her since the food amount she took was lesser than before this and getting really old reaction by walking slow. Before this she used to jump around and super active. Maybe getting matured.  doh.gif  doh.gif
*
perhaps digestive problem or teeth problem.
do you feed her hay or just pallets?
if its teeth problems you need to go to the vet.

or anyone know where i can get one of these user posted image

looks like a nice cage but it looks expensive and your rabbit will outgrow it very quickly, unless you going to make it as a part of its playpen area like this...

user posted image

you have the cage as his hiding place when he feels unsecure nod.gif

QUOTE(Dark Devon @ Jul 29 2013, 06:40 PM)
haha wow the photo seems very attrative. But you need to know whether your rabbit can fit in. My rabbit size I think is over. Mine is the dog cage sad.gif ugly but dont know which one better as I wish to get her a new home too. Any SIFUs can guide for this?  icon_question.gif
