but u need to be a superuser...hehe

go to adb shell...
su
mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
mv /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg.old
mv /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg.old
exit

done...so eazy ...huh!

ps no need the the rubbish app...xt720 cannot be mute by app or silent button..

if applies the honeycomb at the phone settings > about phone > the firmware will change to 3.0 or still remain 2.2.1 cause mine is froyo done by you i bought this phone by my fren he send thius phone to you before to do and add install applications.

Haha make for all la because can show off mah that Motorola Milestone XT720 have Honey Comb then people will jealouse about us haha.

Secondly people will buy Milestone XT720 just fopr the HoneyComb because i see really nice and great design work.

After can change the settings to 3.0 you tell me i wanted to change mine to HoneyComb and PM me how to do it the method send me the link and method thanks.

Change already i belanja u yum cha = drink tea. (Of Course not at Mamak Stall or Road Side you will know where once i meet up with you.)

Hi Khal i also the same problem setting not present i tried yours cannot then i restore back to 2.2.1 Firmware and now i have good news after i restore i take picture my camera the lens wont auto close anymore when taking picture and it will close when i dint use camcoder or camera. Just wasted 5 hour with my XT720 infront of my PC after i arrived back home at 4 PM to 9 PM and i dont understand why setting not present. and i follow your step by step so closely.
