I remember last time my school colleague dropped my 2 days old N-Gage QD and all the housings splashed all over across the classroom floor.. my feeling at that was so unbearable, felt like wanna punch that guy at that very moment..

you mean when restoring the backup files? the backup does not include widgets. so you will lose all your widget settings arrangement even though u do the backup..

No need.. just go to its original installer in system/apps.. click that one and it will reinstall.. if still cant mount your file system, copy new installer in system/apps and reinstall from that installer at that folder location..
