Maybe you can add the procedure/question Streamyx Support will ask caller?
If you have frequent dc like i had after transferring my Streamyx to another area phone system, try to contact Telekom 1st to check out the phone line quality 1st. Next if can, bring your modem+splitter to another friend house with Streamyx to confirm your modem is working correctly. Try to use your login name and password to confirm your account is not blacklisted. If you've confirmed your modem, account and phone line is A OK and still dc, call them up and request for technician to check at their site. Do mention all the testing you have done by yourself.
Btw, depends on the technician, if he's lazy abit then your problem will drag on for quite some time. Mine took 2 weeks plus to be solved. Rang their support till they put me to highest level of complaint...hehehe....
