Could the high attenuation be the prob? Getting very frustrated with the connection!

My line very frequently gets disconnected. What could be the prob? I've checked and it shows that Local line attenuation is 35.5 dB and remote line attenuation is 15.0 dB
Could the high attenuation be the prob? Getting very frustrated with the connection! What can be done to rectify this problem? |
