QUOTE(Kimichi @ Jul 8 2011, 08:40 AM) Guys, lol yeah, i felt the court yesterday is smaller n with more ppl inside, lagi small lol. Sorry for the inconvenience cause yesterday.. But just for note, I see most of uguys already good in the passing department. that a big improvement. And about playing 6 v 6, its just too crowded. hahaha n also if possible, next time if your own friends/gang is in the same team as you, please don't always pass to those u kenal only/or always bolot the ball. many times i was free and my teammates saw me n didnt pass it to me. most of the time i get to hold the ball also only when the ball went out or corner set piece or someone else loses the ball. one thing bad about having your own friends in the same team (or maybe rather the only chinese in the team that ur not comfortable kut? but i doubt it is la k so no worries) i'm not complaining but yeah just a note to everyone in case u guys r just gonna pass it to ur own friends in the team only. abit unfair to those ppl who also paid the same amount to play? especially newbies who needs some playing time on the ball too. n also i apologize if i accidentally made anyone fall down (i think only LCtho85) while tackling for the ball, don't know how u could possibly fall but it wasn't on purpose. but yesterday u said "ish annoying la" when i always tried to snatch the ball from you - oh then sorry la i can't help it cos i think that's just part of the game.. (as if other ppl don't do the same?) p/s: i'm not trying to start a flame here ok, just stating my opinion. cheers guys |

QUOTE(botack @ Jul 8 2011, 03:52 PM) well, for me, its not that if you're the only chinese in the team or not. If you can play, then the other team will try to pass to you..its a matter of space for the passer. if you're not moving n just staying on one side of the court, then obviously you will not get the ball more often than the other teammates. therefore in order to get more time on the ball, try to move around a lil bit..come down to help the defenders or when the keeper have the ball will resulting in you getting the ball more often rather than just playing on high ups position. No, don't worry... i'm not saying it IS a racist issue, just saying the possibility because i've not met 3 out of the 5 players in my team yesterday n they might not be comfortable playing with me so yeah. but really, i'm not treating this as a racist issue Next time try to play a little bit lower than your current position. Maybe you can play up and down. dont be lazy just sitting at the opposition side and expect other people to pass it to you.you have to work hard for people to pass it to you. Find bigger space by run around a bit. trust me, if you can find bigger space, people will pass to you. Cheers.. P.S: Please dont see this on a racist view ok..we dont do racism in playing football or futsal. And btw I did go back on our own side yesterday if you didn't notice. I'm comfortable with playing left side of the pitch, but when someone is on the left, i'll go to the right or i'll go lower. Most of the time i'm more on the opposition side is because when there are already 4 players on our side defending n no one's on the attacking side + it's 6v6 in a small court, so no point being cramped up together right? When there are people from my team attacking, i did move backwards if they already ran ahead of me. N most of the time, the white shirt buff guy in my team would often run the ball from our side right up to opposition side n shoot with power. I have no doubts about his ability n applause him because he did score some tht way, but this is a team game am i right? And i beg your pardon, i wasn't being lazy la please. i was always trying to intercept the opponent's ball n all (until LCTho even called me annoying lol), also i always ran back n forward back n forward without getting any balls from my own teammates, thus calling me lazy would be an insult to me. sorry i'm being so defensive right now, i'm just taking my own stand. if in any case you guys don't welcome me in future games, feel free to say so k. |

QUOTE(botack @ Jul 8 2011, 05:44 PM) its not intriguing what so ever but this is a critic to you. i know you can play but you must put more effort into it. try finding more space for other people to pass, you may say that you have the space, but your teammates may not have the space to provide a pass to you. lol sure, i'll call out more often next timebut in a crowded venue like yesterday..it will be almost impossible for your teammates to spot you while they try to dribble the ball. (we are not pro man..pro people have time to spot other teammates while they dribble the ball..) so how about shouting a bit..you can shout left..or right..so that other teammates are aware of your position. how about it? |

QUOTE(LCTho85 @ Jul 8 2011, 06:13 PM) Falling down is quite normal in futsal, dude. But what I noticed about your style of play is that you'll just prioritize to kick the ball as hard as you can when it's a 50-50. This started in our session with Howard's colleagues when you kicked the area where my foot was planted -- I was lucky to have lifted my foot at the very last second. If you can remember, that was the first time I yelled at you. The reason I found it annoying is because I realized that this isn't a one-off thing and not because you were trying to "intercept" me or what. Truth be told, I noticed you were staying at the top left corner of your team most of the time (I was defending for the majority of the session). And please don't say that you're not trying to start a flame when you've brought up this issue more than once in a post containing an argument. oh, here comes again. It's pretty obvious. yes i admit i always try to go for the ball n get the ball away from the opponent by kicking the ball away, better than me kicking your leg or something right? i have always been trying to be as cautious as possible in doing so to not hurt ppl, just that i might have some slip ups at times where timing is just not right n ur foot happen to be there (same thing happen like the very first session i played in 1U against ur team). even when u fell, i did apologize but i don't know whether u accepted it or not because u were just ignoring me when i did. n yes, most of the time i stayed in the attacking left corner but as i said i did go back when my teammates were ahead of me. anyway sorry k? next time if i'm playing against u, i will not go near you to avoid further complications. |

QUOTE(lauwy @ Jul 9 2011, 03:57 AM) while pointing out other's mistakes.. praise them if someone assist you to score.. made a good pass.. etc.. don't keep quiet la.. haha.. high 5 .. anything.. Word. It's like you're not appreciating people's assist when you score (i'm not saying everyone that does this, but there are some people). regarding tackle.. no slide tackle for sure as i say earlier before.. and actually futsal is a non-physical contact sports (no shoulder charge, when the players go pass u, you use your body to push your opponents out of the way).. but i think the team who's waiting outside the court can help to see if it's rough play and decide if it's a foul la.. and if you accidentally kick someone's leg.. just admit it's a foul and give the ball to keeper and restart.. it's a good practice la.. so no one will feel that he's kicked by anyone intentionally.. And talking about body contact, "futsal is a non-physical contact sports (no shoulder charge, when the players go pass u, you use your body to push your opponents out of the way)"... I'm sure many people kena alot of times already. I myself kena pushed away for quite few times (while running/defending or attacking) but i don't say anything because well.. this is sports, i ain't sissy n i expect people to be playing hard anyway. But yeah, to some of you guys i noticed that pushes ppl aside at times, take note for the future games (for the sake of those who have smaller/lighter body frame as well, they might have easily fall down or smtg).
