ROM : CM7 Build #8
Battery update: Stock CSL (1230mAh) Fully charge : Battery Indicator ® @8.40PM Duration : 14h 57M 32s on Battery Running Apps : GSM/EDGE: - YM,Launcher Pro People Widget (Twitter & FB),Opera. - Make some call & SMS. WiFi: - YM,Launcher Pro People Widget (Twitter & FB),Opera. - Download & installed some apps. - Leave my phone with WiFi Connection from 1.00AM-7.45AM Battery left 3% Comments : So far no critical bugging / lagging since using this ROM just having a little bit of 2G/3G network when i reached from 2G area to 3G area.I got to switch APN 2G or 3G network. Battery life much more better than original stock of CSL (Android 2.1 Update 1) and i'm waiting for better GUI. This post has been edited by phyz: Jan 21 2011, 11:42 AM |

QUOTE(megadisc @ Jan 21 2011, 11:36 AM) hooray... Backup your SDCard and use ROM Manager.Do partitioning to your SDCard for SWAP and EXT4(for root),the rest would be your FAT32 partition to keep your pic, music, ebook etc.havent been doing any major changes with the phone at the moment. read email read harry potter read news screen so big ... but need to root coz i need to use - gps papago - clear mapking rubbish coz disturb my playlist and photo album - screen capture - voice recorder - apps2sd - i sure would like to add more apps but i'm already leaving about 10mb free space and the phone already slows down switching between apps... any ideas ? Warning : You have to root your phone & partitioning will wipe away what you have in your SDCard. This post has been edited by phyz: Jan 21 2011, 11:50 AM |

20-60 %?40% is normal for 20 min charging.mean if you charge from 0%-100%,it should take almost one hour to complete charge in standby mode
20%=10min 100%=50min it is better to do full charge by turn off our phone. |

Please use proper words. It up to anyone who love to use any rom they want to.
Just make this thing simple. If you want to used experimental, you may use the experimental rom but if you want the stable version just go for official one. But if you don't want either,go for other smartphone using W7 or Mac. This post has been edited by phyz: Jan 22 2011, 01:18 PM |

For those newbie,go for stable version(offical rom). But if you love to test the rom go for experimental rom.
Android is one of linux system as long as you're familiar with linux, you don't have any problem about it. |

Like i've said before.
If you love to do experimental/testing,just used the experimental/developer's one but if you don't either losing your hair or can't sleep at night, just use offical rom.Otherwise, just stick with the original ROM when you bought this phone. Everyone have their own motif and do what they want to their phone. Salimbest, How about your CM7Build#9.Any issues?Mine sometime freezing and waiting for build #10.Maybe arrived this evening Added on January 22, 2011, 2:16 pmHaha...i think i should take back my words regarding waiting for build#10 arrived.Just now my phone pop-up,CM7Build#10 ready to test http://mirror.teamdouche.net/get/z71/cm_z71_full-10.zip This post has been edited by phyz: Jan 22 2011, 02:17 PM |
