It'll overclock ur phone to 868MHz. Shorter battery lifspan.
Not recommended.

Ugly wallpaper too.

You're talking about Phantom King or Andro-ID?

SuperBler gave me the SD card problem, poor battery life (as it's based on Cyanogen), so thumbs up for Phantom King!

Long live the King! XD

Here's an update guys...

1. From CM7 to Firetrap, I've finally stuck on Phantom 2.25 (14-02-2011)
2. Phone is really stable, never hangs and is always super smooth in executing all tasks.
3. Set CPU to Auto manage.
4. Using ES Task Manager when all apps and unneccessary services closed (using auto kill one touch widget on screen) I get about 90mb memory on average.
5. Using the Sunglobal 1800mah battery bought at lowyat for RM30. With average usage i.e. phone calls, sms, some browsing, you tube and games I get close to 48 hours battery life.
6. Just did a quadrant benchmark and the result is 727 which is alright I suppose?
7. Disk usage seems high though from system apps but can remove using Root Manager which comes with the ROM.

Overall very happy with the phone besides the camera which I think is alright under good lighting conditions. It's a bit slow though the camera. Video is quite acceptable IMO. For RM599 it's a steal I would say smile.gif

Which shop did you went for the Sunglobal battery?

Hai guys, i'm new in this forum, being using Mi300 for about 3 month now. Currently running Superbler 4.2 with Go Launcher EX (delete the ADW with "Unistaller for Root").  This phone is really great, Love my Mi300.. smile.gif

You should try Phantom. brows.gif

lance888, yep. It also depends on the hardware as for e.g. the processor.

Go with Phantom King Sky Fish. You won't regret it.

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?369ws25y2gl5slj

I'm using Class 2 SD Card but haven't got any problem with it.

Make sure you have the official Spice rom before flashing this nb0. Download here: http://www.spiceglobal.com/Document/MI-300...pdater-Tool.zip

How to install:

download sutlr http://download26.mediafire.com/p4kt37n1rb...UTLR_v1.7.0.zip and install on windows...
1) off phone.
2) put phone to download mode which is press and hold hang up button ( red dash) + vol up + power button
notice that black background screen with words saying download=1
3)open sut and plug usb connector to pc and phone..
4)click next
5))s.u.t program will say phone connected
6)browse for the nbo file. small bar below, select clear data
then program will start flashing...phone will reboot by itself...dun disturb the phone, if program say update failed, repeat step 3-6.

As for me no more issues which boot during startup the phone. Trying gps, wifi so far so good.
Any suggestion what video & music player to install?

Edit: Mobo player for video.... What about music player?
*
I use the Motorola music player known as Connected Music Player. It is extracted from Android Motorola phone.

Good enough for me.

newbie here,==
what means daily phone a?really noob ques

and,if i want to chg to phantom sky fish,i have to flash back to csl stock rom, then only root to phantom?
*
Daily phone is the phone that you use everyday. Some people here has the Mi300 as their second phone, or you would call secondary phone.

Yes, flash back to csl stock rom using ROM Manager (make backup to some important files including contacts, messages, .etc) and use SutLR to flash the Phantom King nb0.

nb0 is the format of the ROM. Here's the step by step.

1- download phantom rom http://uploading.com/files/448m85bb/phantom.king.rev1.rar/
2. download & install SUT & launch it http://uploading.com/files/7942c5ef/SUTLR_v1.7.0.zip/
3 connect phone in download mode n flash it
3.1. press HANG UP button, VOLUME UP and POWER to enter Download mode.
3.2. and your phone is entering Download mode with something iterate with black background screen
3.3. Open up the SUT application and browse nb0 file that you need to install to your phone.
3.4. you can see "Next" button on SUT application, it means your phone is detecting.
3.5. just click next till the progress bar /flashing stuff appears and wait to it to finish.
3.6 voila..

Perhaps each people (maybe like 10) post a review (just a short one) of Spice Mi300 and I can try to compile it. I will also browse through each page to find questions that have been asked and put it into FAQs on the first page so that no redundant questions will be asked.

Though if you guys want salimbest or zyulander instead to do this, then I'm fine with it. smile.gif

Download stock ROM here.

http://www.spiceglobal.com/Document/MI-300...pdater-Tool.zip

after installation complete, dont close that SUT yet
go
C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Update Tool Setup
take that nb0 and save at other place..
(somewhere safe) coz when u close that SUT, it wil delete that nb0

Then follow step 2-3.6 on the previous post.

Inside the phantom king, there no app2sd.. should i install it myself?

I try using ROM Manager, there no manual input for SD Partitioning. The max value is 512mb only..  Can i go to 1gig please?

You can change the number of homescreens by pressing the left most button and then go to Preferences > Homescreen settings > Number of screens

You can even select it up to 7. icon_idea.gif
