I know now is about the time where PwC would call and invite the applicants to take their assessment test.
Do anyone receive call from PwC recently??
I tried to call PwC recently, but no one picked up my call.

QUOTE(minizian @ Oct 16 2015, 04:07 PM) I am just curious does PwC actually inform by email you if you application is not successful like what EY and KPMG does? I know that deloitte will just ignore you if you did not get through their first stage. Just noticed those smaller audit firm (Crowe horwath/mazars/Baker tilly/Grant thornton) have the tendency to reply quite slow when i send them enquiries email. Wonder if they will contact me regardless if i suceed or not in the first stage of application? If you did not pass the interview, they will send you an email to tell you about that. But I got no idea about the screening stage. I called PwC last week to follow up my application and they said that still in process and will call me within 2 weeks if I pass the screening stage. But as what I know, they will start the assessment test end of this month. P/S: I just remembered that my friend who was a former intern in PwC neither secure an interview from PwC nor receive email from PwC that your application is not successful. My friend interned in PwC and rejected her when she apply for permanent. I have friend who is a 2nd class lower successfully secure a permanent placement in EY after intern in EY.

QUOTE(ks0108 @ Nov 6 2015, 08:05 AM) Chia Hau: Probably go back all the way to Junior Is it? sigh... not even AA2? no wonder many of my friends are ended up in big 6 even after acca membership Most likely will depends on your interview. Interview takes an important factor whether will your experience get discounted or not.

QUOTE(chiahau @ Nov 6 2015, 12:26 PM) I don't mind being a junior again, if my pay is as high as a senior There is a bandwidth for big 4 payroll. It's unlikely to happen tbh.

QUOTE(coppycop @ Nov 6 2015, 01:10 PM) Big 6 : this is pretty new to me. In overseas, we only have big 4. I though big 6 is not a new thing because medium 4 firm sometime kinda like to group themselves with the big 4

QUOTE(Gagaloo @ Nov 6 2015, 03:02 PM) I have no working experience before. So they gonna ask me about myself, strengths/weakness things like that? anymore tips you can give? How many people will be interviewing me? Tax, as tax assistant. Any pointers to share? But first thing first, they still haven't call me back for an interview, maybe I wasn't shortlisted? They called me few days ago asked me few question and say they'll pass my resume to management. I'm applying for assurance. I'm still waiting them to call me for assessment.
