I think its all personal preference.
For me, I prefer a firm with multi industries so that I have the chance to learn everything...then only I can decide on what suit me better.
For example, now, I know I hate construction and bank industry. So I'll be changing to a new firm, and I made it clear to my future employer that my interest is in manufacturing and trading company, and that I strictly DO NOT want any construction or banking engagements.

Ya, it depends on ur personal preference.

For me, i prefer industry specific so that I can really master in the industry that i was assigned. U know almost everything in the industry. The specialised people are very welcomed by the specific industry. For example, a Bank would prefer the people who specific in the banking industry and really know how the bank works. Another example, if u have an eye problem, u will prefer to visit the eyes specialised doctor instead of those "general clinic", and the specialised doctor is always earn more than those general doctor... This is an exmple given by an instructor during my internship orientation with PwC and i found it quite true also tongue.gif

Hi, any one working at Deloitte? Can share with me the working culture at Communications & PR Department? Is it a systematic working culture or 'casual' working culture? I prefer formal, poised and systematic working culture.
