hi all,

Expansion is coming out soon, I'm going back to Wow,

just wondering if wow is playable now? hows the latency??

Since now most streamyx users are having so-called FUP traffic management capped the international traffics to really slow speed,

so does it affect Wow now? I'm playing at Oceania - Frostmourne, I don't want to waste my wow game time if my connection cannot handles playing wow

UniFi users excluded, I want answers from Streamyx users who are currently playing WoW,

UniFi users are not affected by the cap at the moment

WoW US with tunnel - average about 290ms to 400ms

About the FUP, I was told if your tunneling service datacenter is located in Malaysia, u might not be affected by the FUP cap issue since FUP affects international hosts.

Ps: USJ/Subang Jaya area

Gamepath/Gametune user here with 2MB Streamyx line in Bayan Area, Penang:

With solo and 10 mans: Use LA gates : 220ms during day time; unplayable at night

With 25 man raids: Use 250 gate or gametune:320-450ms; sometimes 1000ms or more at night.

So, it's quite unpredictable; when it lags and times out, I just ask to be benched.

The current Bullshit cap is a speed cap. What you want is no packet loss.

So its still bout the same. For me at the moment its playable. But with a tunnel of course.

I used to use WoW Tunnels which gave me 300-400ms, smooth for raids, except lots of ppl like attack city raid, that gonna dc me from game immediately, lol

so any other better tunnels smile.gif

hey why dont you guys WoW players try this... WTFAST

And please send me some feedback...i have been a WoW player once, ive quitted due to the major lags...and now i'm thinking of starting it all over again, only if the site's suggested software really cures the lag. The site got free trial and once again, please do send some feedback.

thanks in advance.

currently use registry tweak, no tunnel service

from 590-700 become 350-450 (most of time below 450)

I'm running on 4mbps.

I get an average of 400-500ms but i have zero issues playing on that latency (internet disconnects are the only problems)

Oh yeah, i don't use a tunneler of any sort, no need for it
