i can list the many more similarity:

ryouko,a doctor who know about prof ougai (saya's guardian) past,were also know her way around with firearms.
homura,a PM who knew QB's true identity,wields firearms to fight against witches.

3 episodes to go. Let see how they gonna wrap this up.

actually i am wondering more about sayaka's corpse in kyoko's apartment.
if its saya no uta,the corpse gonna rot and people will find out and kyouko will be accused as the culprit and she will be hunted by police.
